The 18th season of "America's Got Talent" returns with a new set of aspiring performers looking to compete for the ultimate $1 million prize. Executive Producer Simon Cowell returns to the star-studded judging panel with global fashion icon Heidi Klum, fan-favorite comedian Howie Mandel and acclaimed actress and international superstar Sofia Vergara. They DO got this, unless for some reason a high exec from some unknown shadowy type of desk in a broom closet somewhere decides to do what dark lord Geppetto tells them to do and "Cancel/soft write" these talented musicians off the script. I actually did after I saw them and um, the music is great, but the lyrics to Death To All But Metal from them is just wow.

It's funny U say that because literally just 30seconds before sending me this video just now my bass player and I were saying how sad it is that hard rock and heavy metal has been forced to the background by the mainstream labels when there is such a demand for it. And I said even all these corny TV talent shows, when they wanna add some life to their shows it's the rock guys who do it. We're all in our 50s now and we're still crush it and liven them up every time we hit the stage. LONG LIVE ROCK!!!

It's NOT the only song in their repertoire. Ever heard their cover of Backstreet Boys "I want It That Way"? It would be the perfect song for this audience. And, if they do it, they'll bring the house down with it. I personally hate the Backstreet Boys version. But, Steel Panther made it a really, really good song. Shockingly good.
There are some other few songs TV friendly, such as The Burden of Being Wonderful or You're Beautiful When You Don't Talk... But there are not too many of them, that's for a fact. I am too curious to see what they do next, but I am rooting for them all the way from Portugal! Steel Panther Rocks!!

Um, it was actually A BIG compliment to them. SP got such a positive reaction just by showing up. That's the reaction you want, when you're a musician. That's when you know you've made it.

They could become the next Kiss minus the heavy make ups. But, i think they can live without them.

These guys because of the comedic nature are so underrated. Talent wise they are way higher up there then people give them credit for

I’m surprised they were even allowed to audition for the show with how big their fan base is. Been listening to them for years and saw them open for Judas Priest in 2014.
Like they said, this brings them to many more people. I had not heard of them until just seeing this, now I'll probably look up more of their music.
Doubt it was a genuine audition though, more likely a pr stunt with the producers of AGT and Steel Panthers labels etc… history from Britain’s got Talent, X Factor, Pop Idol etc… and America’s got Talent shows they don’t like metal heads on the show

I saw these guys about a year ago in concert. Out of all the concerts I went to, they’re by far the best concert I went on too.
Edit 1: I got to see them a second time with VIP meet and Greet passes. They were such cool and hilarious guys!

I normally don't like heavy metal at all but having this professional crew and it's sort of like a masterpiece being unveiled in front of the audience from the stage setup to sound qualities to the incredible vocals arrangement of the singer which reminds me of Helloween congratulations and you sure moved the entire crowd

Steel panther literally helped me get through my divorce about 10 years ago. I would go see them every Tuesday night at the House of blues in Los Angeles. Those guys made me laugh my balls off in the midst of one of the most difficult times in my life. I went to see them in Vegas and as well and got to meet Michael Starr after the show. The guy could not have been nicer. Such cool guys and so funny. Incredible musicians too. That often gets overlooked.

Most bands that play this style of music are usually great to talk to and always has time for their fans unlike most other types of music and that's why they have the most die hard fans great audition go all the way

Love this, it’s authentic Rock to me, that 80s fun freeing rock. Not that other rock (to each their own) but this rock is so fun.
