Can I connect one of these follett F15 machines to a 5 gallon jug for the water source?

I’m pretty sure you could figure out a way to make that happen. I think you’d need some sort of a pump to feed it from the jug to the machine. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.

Great video . On a different note . I have a Manitowoc neo , it’s running low auction pressure ( 34psig) .when the machine goes into harvest the hot gas temp never reaches 150 degree , stays @78 . Would low refrigerant cause this ?

Bro what? What's your head pressure during a freeze cycle? If you low on your suction and head, then ur low charge. But that would imply a leak.

Kinda sounds like a harvest valve issue. If your hot gas valve is not opening/partially opening during harvest you’ll get higher than expected head and lower than expected suction. That’s assuming everything else is correct. But that’s just a guess and I have little information to base that on.

I can’t stand these little ice machines they’re garbage. They’ll work fine for about a year or 2 and then nothing but issues. If you go to Follett videos on RUclips, comments or disabled if that tells you anything. I always tell customers to not buy these little Follet ice machines. They are junk and their Tech Support is just as bad. Expect to wait on hold for at least 45 minutes/ 1 hour every time you need Tech Support.

lol. I don’t want to bad mouth Follett. I have a pretty good working relationship with them. The drain less machines are kind of a pain at times. I’ve started telling customers that they should get a small RO system to feed the machine. Oh and Tech Support is rough.
