I’m pretty sure you could figure out a way to make that happen. I think you’d need some sort of a pump to feed it from the jug to the machine. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.
Great video . On a different note . I have a Manitowoc neo , it’s running low auction pressure ( 34psig) .when the machine goes into harvest the hot gas temp never reaches 150 degree , stays @78 . Would low refrigerant cause this ?
Kinda sounds like a harvest valve issue. If your hot gas valve is not opening/partially opening during harvest you’ll get higher than expected head and lower than expected suction. That’s assuming everything else is correct. But that’s just a guess and I have little information to base that on.
I can’t stand these little ice machines they’re garbage. They’ll work fine for about a year or 2 and then nothing but issues. If you go to Follett videos on RUclips, comments or disabled if that tells you anything. I always tell customers to not buy these little Follet ice machines. They are junk and their Tech Support is just as bad. Expect to wait on hold for at least 45 minutes/ 1 hour every time you need Tech Support.
lol. I don’t want to bad mouth Follett. I have a pretty good working relationship with them. The drain less machines are kind of a pain at times. I’ve started telling customers that they should get a small RO system to feed the machine. Oh and Tech Support is rough.
Have experienced this first hand, they have told me twice to order the wrong parts which are super expensive..After the warranty expires..Good Luck with them
Great Video. Thank you for sharing
Hope it helps you out one of these days.
Can I connect one of these follett F15 machines to a 5 gallon jug for the water source?

Bro what? What's your head pressure during a freeze cycle? If you low on your suction and head, then ur low charge. But that would imply a leak.
Or bad txv or leaky hgv ?? What does the Ice formation look like on the grid
@@calvinthompson5398 it will form a nice sheet of ice but will not break lose . After 7 mins harvest .
@@MightyMeehow head pressure is 250 and cooling fans do kick on . I was able to clean the condenser .saturation temp was 18 degrees .
