I almost ordered this shoe on a deal but wanted one with more stability. Regarding the carbon addiction, I ordered the new Adios 9 to get some different stress on my feet and legs with the lower stack and flexibility. And still getting a nice super foam.
I'm first hip-hop generation, or even slightly pre-hip-hop. I completely missed the Drake thing. I mean, I was aware of him, he was aight, but I never understood why so many people had him in their top 5, much less their favorite artist. I just chalked it up to being old and not really understanding the kids anymore.
Pro tip for keeping the foam clean: Pick up a 50 pack of amazon generic Magic Eraser sponges for $15. Just wet and wipe. They work 10x better than paper towels. Bling, bling!
Interested in seeing your thoughts on the Salomon max cushion option - the aero glide 2. A bit of an older shoe as the next iteration of the shoe comes out pretty soon I think. I wonder how they would fair against the magmax, super blast, etc. keep the videos up bro!
I've been working to quail my addiction to carbon county - trying to get back to basics with daily trainers. Its been a huge adjustment and a lot of slower miles, but man I feel like its so worth
I tweaked my left hamstring last Sunday and today I had hill repeats on the menu. Had to just listen to my body take some time off and focus on resistance band work on my hamstrings.
I have this, Made in France edition. Very narrow as you say, but fits a bit long. I even have narrow feet, and it still is too much. Also, the bottom foam in the heel is softer than the forefoot / upper part, which makes the shoe feel almost negative drop for me.
Drake’s “Nothing Was the Same” was what got me started listening to rap. Don’t listen to him anymore and prefer Kendrick, Smino, and Vince Staples, but wouldn’t be listening to them without Drake’s work.
I'm on board with training by feel. I usually only have a plan for the mileage. If I feel good, I'll throw in some pace pick-ups; make it more of a progression run; or just smash the hills. If not, I hang back. I usually don't know for sure until I get to mile 2 or 3. I don't really go into the pain cave except when I lift weights; then it's every time. I don't think I could identify any song by Drake. I'm still listening to Billy Joel and Elvis Presley so, yeah, I'm old. :)
On the trail, they make one of the best running shoe, the slab pulsar, very lightweight. I use it for trail races under 12k. There is also the Slab Genesis, which I have ordered but not tried yet. The ultraglide has also been popular but is less unique. Lastly the slab ultra 3 is considered one of the best as well.
I'm not a big smiley person either, and definitely never been a Drake fan, and yes, listened to his entire discography. Biggest is Eminem, "I hate every fucking thing yeah". I'm definitely the same to say something and not status quo. Like that the most important producers in society get treated the most trash by smug yuppies. Arguably the hardest workers are diamond workers who are the poorest... The bosses exploit the shit outta them and they're brutalized in that work. Docs on the footage are unbelievable. Fuck commercial hip-hop that won't stop and its all about the bling bling vapid mentality. At least lab diamonds seem to be a better alternative. Unfortunately people need to pay to live and make trinkets to live another day to make more trinkets for clueless morons.
Just heard Ben Parkes refer to a shoe as a banger…something has to br done. Let me know when we ride

As a native French speaker, it's always funny to hear Americans use the cliché French expressions 😂😂

I graduated high school in 13 and Drake had so many songs on the radio during that time. A ton of his songs give me nostalgia as well

Definitely a 'deep cut' shoe! looks nice
Peugeot, Citroën and Renault make cars in France ;)
Somebody start a gofundme for some chicken coops. They’re getting disrespectful

Are these for super fast runners bc I’m not that fast anymore. Run my mile in the 9min area

Hahaha I guess you could say Drake is the Elvis of my generation
You’re not down to try the phantasm 2 daily trainer. Which is a good Boston 12 competitor.
what camera are you using while running? and any mic with it?
Salomon's superstar athlete Courtney Dauwalter has said that she trains entirely on vibes
Salomon are big in the trail scene.. More of an outdoor company..
I’m more of a “NWTS” guy. “Im the big homie but they still tryna lil bro me dog”

Bugatti, Peugeot, Fiat, and Alpine just to name a few French car manufacturers.
