I'm an autotransporter and have been for many years. I've never seen anything like it either. But you are exactly right. It's due to the chip shortage. Conversely, Chrysler doesn't seem to be having a chip shortage and I'm not sure why. I don't know if they foresaw this coming and just bought out a lot of chips ahead of time or if they started buying from someone else or what.
We don't seem to have a short supply of Chrysler vehicles to haul out of Toledo Ohio. I also haul out of Spring Hill Tennessee at the GM plant. Lots of times they have rows of cars parked but they can't transport them because they're missing chips. I also haul BMW, Volkswagen and Audi out of Baltimore Maryland Dundalk port. We haven't been up to full speed since covid hit the scene. I've been hauling more Volkswagen and Audi out of Dundalk than I have BMW.

Hey fred welcome! Thanks for being a regular! I'm gonna try to post regularly but right now it's about one or 2 videos a month. Oh man wrong window switch that sucks, yeah there's a 2000-2005 and a 2006-2010 I think. Also make sure it's not the window motor wire. The wires shred and peel away from the motor. Look under my playlist for or cruiser. I have 3 videos on the window and door locks
By the way Fred see if you can get the switch at a pick and pull junk yard where you remove the part yourself sometimes it's cheaper. I bought a used dash panel.on ebay

I'm doing good AR. Hope your well. They actually have a 5 day pill treatment for covid now developed by merk. It's not vs a approved yet but can be prescribed for emergencies. It's supposed to keep people out of the hospital. Hopefully this winter won't be as bad. I've been hanging out in my new beach condo. I'll post a video eventually. -cheers man
@@drewsquickfix wow! You have two places to live now? Awesome! Yes, i've heard those pills are not approved yet, but doctors could actually get them for emergency use. You're right. 2 family members of mine tested positive for covid and they are both fully vaccinated. So, i really have to quarantine. Might be that new delta variant. I will take a moderna booster when it comes out. How about you?
@@AR-sd im doing well here i jist hang out at the beach condo during the day. Its my family's. We are going to rent it when we are not using it. It's nice to have an extra place though yeah especially if there's another quarantine. I can't stay there though I have my 2 dogs at home and no dogs allowed at the condo complex sadly. I'm gonna try to start posting more videos again. Haven't been as I retested in working on cars recently. Lol funny since I have a car repair channel. I may start doing more product reviews.
@@drewsquickfix finally got rid of the jackass/shady thief mechanic with a horrible criminal record. Got a new mech for the heavy stuff i can't fix. However, he's getting old. Lol. He's 70ish. But he's still good. Yeah, make more videos. I thought you totally ignored youtube and got on another social media. I miss that chat thing utube had. But, you'll never know how long youtube will last all together.
@@AR-sd yeah searching for good mechanics is tough even the shady ones know how to hook you by doing something free then creating more work for themselves. Beware of SAN CARLOS AUTO in mission valley sam diego. They took me for a few 1000 dollars. Had a leaking hose they said it was a head gasket charges me $1600. This bastarsa are still in business
