All the mechanics with Lappy burst so far
- It can pierce, but the pierce damage won't have pierce text below it. Strange af
- If you don't have 5 stacks S1, Burst dmg will deal normal dmg + S2 bonus dmg. These damages apply per part. So let's say you pierce 1 part 1 body, final dmg will be (Normal dmg + S2 bonus dmg) x2.
- Note that normal RL shot, although can hit 4 parts, but only proc S2 bonus dmg once. Her burst just allows S2 to proc multiple times per part lol.
- If you have 5 stacks S1, burst dmg will deal Normal dmg + True damage. These damages also apply per part, which means 1 body 1 part = (Normal + True) x2. This is very big because all dmg theories before only assumed the true damage and S2 damage never pierced.
- Sadly, Burst true damage still prevents S2 dmg exist. The final expected dmg of Laplace should be (Normal + True + S2 bonus) x pierce part. Which means her final burst multiplier can go up to 48.9% x 193 hits = 9437% ATK. This is one body, and will be multiplied per part, making her burst one of the strongest burst in Nikke.
We've analyzed her damage and floating numbers and there are several mistakes in your statements...
1. S2 does NOT apply per part during burst, it only applies ONCE if it hits any number parts, just like her normal RL shot. You are confusing it with her normal/true damage which do pierce parts.
2. S2 does damage during burst even if you have 5 stacks, but the floating number for it doesn't show up, because it somehow conflicts with her burst's additional true damage.
3. ALL OF HER BURST DAMAGE is converted to TRUE damage if you have 5 stacks when you burst with stage 2 treasure, and this conversion lasts for 10 seconds (entire burst duration), independently from her hero vision stacks. It applies not only to her normal attack, but also her burst's initial hit and her S2.
So her lv 10 burst damage formula at 5 stacks is: (Base 22.2% + Additional 11.9%) x parts hit [ + S2 14.78% if it hits at least 1 part ] and all of it is true damage.

Has this been fixed yet? I just finally got an SR treasure doll and was thinking of putting in on Laplace but if she is still bugged then I think i'll put it on SBS instead.

what is First Damage in laplace's burst? because it says First Damage, Normal Damage, True damage and then Parts Damage from S2
