+DianebelongstoChrist Oh good! When I first began on my own, this drove me crazy!Lol But once you get it- Its so easy.Im so glad you found my video's helpful! Happy Stitching!
So great, however, I am having trouble with the volume. I have my computer on highest volume but still having trouble. Love the information. Can I get a written text of what you said for having a cheat sheet by my machine.
After you change all the colors, how do you save them for next time you want to stitch our an identical pattern in those colors so you don't have to go through all of that again?
Diane Carlton Hey Diane-Thank you for messaging! Sorry I'm just getting your question. I do not save my colors b/c chances are,you will be stitching something else. However, IF you want to,you can assign needle colors to your machine.I think its easier to just change them w/each design.(and thinking about this,I don't think you could set it to a specific pattern now that I'm thinking about it) I usually try and keep needle10=black and needle 9=white b/c those are the 2 colors that are usually in most any design. So to sum it up- no, I just change colors w/each design- strange enough,I don't mind that process. LOL! I hope this helps you -Happy Stitching!
Friendly suggestion. The camera framing that begins at about 1:26 should have quickly switched to to a close up of the machine's control display. Move the camera back, set it lower than the machine's display panel, and zoom in. This would provide viewers with a much larger image to study as you demonstrate operation of this equipment.
Sorry the angle was off- at the time of the video,I was working with what I had which is my laptop-which is bulky.Thank you for the friendly suggestion.
First are you in manual mode or automatic? How do you do the stop/pause? If you have say 21 colors, do you stop and reprogram for the rest of the colors? Is there a vid for that?
This machine has 10 colors. I just change colors for each design I'm doing.IF you are stitching a design for 21 colors, go ahead and change the colors on the design like you see in video- for the needles that you will be using for MORE than 1 color.write down on a piece of paper what needle you have said you will use for that color & have that thread waiting to be stitched. You will have to watch the machine so when you are ready to change that thread color, you can stop the machine.Otherwise,it will stitch the 1st thread color you have used.Hope this makes sense.
Is there a place where I can find a printout of the steps? I'm having a really hard time seeing which buttons you are pressing even though I have chromcasted (OK, I made a verb out of a noun and my computer doesn't like it) your wonderful RUclips video onto my 55 inch tv screen. Being in my 80th year doesn't help!
Hey-Sorry your having a little trouble.Maybe write down the steps as I talk them thru on the video? You may need to write/pause video. I have had to do that when I was learning how to make bias tape.I think its great you have this machine at any age! Age is is just a number. I hope this helps.
Too much extraneous conversation. Also, You are everything else is blurry on the video. Your camera technique needs adjustment. You are not really clear or explanations

After I adjust all the colors I need to with with the magic (fairy) wand how do I "set" it ? Every time I do this it only stitches the last screen.

Jennifer Allen when you anchor 4 colors how do you not stitch out the other colors not anchored?

Jennifer Allen thanks for the quick reply. It does make sense after several watchings. It's threaded and the first 10 are ready to go. Wish me luck!!!
You can do this!
Jennifer Allen and I did a 32 color change tile. Easy peasy. Thank you so much for your help
