Central Bureau of Investigation also known as CBI is one of the best investigation agency of India. It investigates complex, High Profile and intricate cases generally referred by the state investigative agencies or governments or various courts whenever there is improper investigation or which are not being investigated properly by other agencies or whenever any honourable court deems fit to transfer the case to CBI.
To become a CBI Officer is an achievement. But the task of SI in CBI or any CBI Officer is not easy. To become a SI or Officer in Central Bureau of Investigation one has to undergo a selection process of written and/or Oral exams followed by physical and medical conducted by Staff Selection Commission so that only the best can join CBI.
1. Educational Qualification: To be eligible to become a CBI officer one must be a graduate i.e. one must have a Bachelor in any stream.
2. Age Limit for CBI : The candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained 27 years of age. The upper age limit will be relaxed for OBC and SC/ST candidates.
3. Physical Requirements are generally same for male and female candidates, detailed in the video.
