It's a easy to deal with inverter, I plan to put a 20 amp single outlet in it and a 30 amp RV outlet in it and toss the ones it come with. For brutal tool starting its excellent. You just have to supply 500 amps capacity to it with at least 4 of 1 awg or 1/0 gauge for it, use NO 2 AWG!
It has 2 awg x2 on it, 2 awg cable is only good for 205 amps continuous ( TEMCO CABLE CHART ) 2 awg can handle quick 230 but briefly. I needed 1 awg which is good for 240 continuous ( 580 max) or maybe even 1/0 for 285 continuous since it will surely hit the 5000+ if I had enough amps.

Best test: LTO Batterie, 6000 Watt inverter and Wig welding Maschiens.
What size wires are you using to draw the 420 amps?
