Winter is one of my favorite songs
The Mick Taylor era was the best era of the Stones, hands down. From Let It Bleed to Its Only Rock N Roll they were one of the best bands on the planet.
Also the live In Brussels shows were the peak of their live performances.
Agreed. And for the record I’m a huge Ron Wood fan, but the songs just aren’t up to Taylor era (obviously not Ron’s fault.) Though I will say Wayne Perkins nasty solo on Hand Of Fate (off of Black and Blue) was a nice way for the band to let us fans down easy.
@@VanirTraditionalist I agree. Ron Wood was just a different feel on the guitar, more gritty than Taylor’s immaculate technique. His slide playing is outstanding as well. On the 73 tour he played with Billy Preston as an opening act in Europe and the recorded performances are awesome. Taylor let’s loose with the Wah wah pedal and they play some covers and a couple of jams. Highly recommended, available on RUclips
