How about the original Dutchburst. . It's nice that u own it. If I ever make it to the shop ; I think I'm gonna take it and run off :P. Beautiful guitars and how wonderful it is to be part of this project.
pancake bodies are NOT CHEAPER TO PRODUCE... actually they are more complicated to produce. people say things they have no understanding of. pancake/three piece necks started in 69 not under NORLIN.
I have 6 Gibson USA LPs. I will get a Custom Shop 58 this spring. But man….. I’d love to get my hands on the Dutch! Beautiful sir.
Super vidéo! Très pédagogique et documentée. Une mine d'informations pour tous les amateurs de Les Paul. Merci.
The Dutchburst is probably my favorite of these. Hence my decision to buy a bourbon burst LP. Not quite the same but I prefer the darker burst.

Haha simple answer regarding truss rod is because of lack of quality controls. It wasnt that strict on those years.
Yeah i can wait 40 years for the guitar to sound good 😅 no problemo
A better investment would be a good replica from a good renown luthier over Custom Shop.
