Getting a lot of Dick Van Dyke vibes with the hat and choreography. We got to meet Aaron Tveit after Moulin Rouge, it was really amazing, he is a sweetheart.
I always, of course, remember how hot Aaron is. I remember how good of an actor and singer he is. But I always forget how great he is at dancing until I see him do it.
Totally Carousel! Aaron Tveit is as talented and as charismatic as any of the singer-dancers of Hollywood's golden age. He's nothing like Gene Kelly, but he's just as good in his own way.

I have a hush crush on him as well but apparently I've been living under a rock because I went to see Moulin Rougue on Broadway, only knowing 'lady marmalade", under the full impression it had an original score. It should be a crime for such an elaborate and beautiful set design to be used for a jukebox musical 😅
I’ve never watched this show, but I’m a fan of Cecily Strong. This guy is really good at singing! I like his voice a lot! Cecily has an amazing voice as well.
If anyone has seen Crazy Ex Girlfriend, I feel like Santino Fontana would've also fit so well in this part. I saw this character and Greg is the first one I see. Just curious if I'm the only to see it. He did a great a job at it though! Was one of my favorites :)
Both this number and the reprise of this song have moments that actually remind me of Greg (the dance break: Settle For Me, Danny being convinced Melissa’s pregnant: Greg being convinced him being amazing in bed led to Rebecca’s UTI), but I can’t really see either Santino playing Danny and I can’t really see Aaron playing Greg either. I don’t think of Santino in a role this wide-eyed and I don’t see him playing it as earnestly as Aaron did. I think Santino’s AMAZING, don’t get me wrong. And he’s a wonderful comedic actor. But in my opinion he just doesn’t really fit the role.
Oh I don't think anyone could really replace Santino as Greg lol. But I understand what you're saying. I think the attire just makes me want to think of Greg so much that I can't see Danny. His facial expressions and vocals. Now once his hat is off, then good bye Greg lol.
