- Today we are checking out what may be the BEST hotel in all of Portugal! In our last video we landed in Lisbon after flying TAP Airways from Madrid, Spain. We then took a taxi from the airport to our hotel.
Sitting in Lisbon's Luis de Camoes Square, the Bairro Alto Hotel is amazing! Before you even enter this hotel their hospitality starts shining. Our taxi pulled up and two doormen were getting our luggage befor we were even out of the car. Every person we met was pleasant, helpful and seemed genuinely happy that we were there.
At this hotel a lady came to reception and talked with us about all of our preferences from turn down to dietary needs.
The room was beautiful and so well appointed! This hotel wins the prize for most EVER amenities in a room! There was everything and anything.

I see influences of the Roman empire AND the Spaniards in their architecture and surroundings! I couldn't help but do some research and true enough, Portugal WAS conquered by both of these countries in the past. They've come a long way!

My favorite toy as a kid was a view master! And they're filled with Disney characters 💖 Bairro Alto Hotel sure went extra in giving out gifts. I can say it deserves the five-star status ⭐
I love how quaint and charming the city of Lisbon looks. I think a lot of European cities are like that because they try their best to keep old houses and buildings. I got that same vibe in Dublin. Europeans are impressive in preserving historic structures. 🏚
