My second phone which I ever bought was Honor 6X in 2017, I've to say its software especially was better than anyone in the market at that price. Easily lasted 4 years without any lags and issues and was also first to have dual camera in its price range.
but it's not same huawei anymore

It's surely too expensive, this won't take off unless the pricing comes down with subsequent sales. Hope they can return to their old quality, it's nice to have more options in the market.
I got Honor 6 back in 2014 and it was a very good phone with great cameras. Unfortunately, the motherboard died one month after the warranty period and I gave up on buying nay Chinese smartphones after that. But I have to admit the camera quality on it, especially in 2014, was absolutely brilliant and could match my Nokia Lumia 800.
I can relate.
One of friends actually had an older Lumia phone and in college switched to a budget king called Huawei Honor Holly, whereas I had got a Moto e for higher price but underpowered performance.
Used Honor Play for 4 years... underrated classic

I bought the Honor View 10 in 2020
I still have it with me. Fully packed up in the box because it's motherboard got damaged and service center was asking 22,000 to repair the motherboard of a 30k RS phone.
So I bought a new phone and the Honor went back to it's box/grave 😀

same. in my case display cracked.
Same I use View10 awesome phone and performance still I have but display broken 😢 so buy 1+ but now again switch Honor 😂😂
My Honor 8 is still fully functional to this day. No lags even with just 4 GB RAM. Love the features that comes packed with the OS like call blocking with wildcards and maintenance mode (which have now been adopted by other manufacturers as well), amongst others. No unnecessary bloatwares.
I bought honor 6x as my primary device in May 2017 used it heavily in my college days and it is still going strong as my secondary device since December 2022.
Dropped multiple times but it is intact. Once it fell on stairs and bounced multiple times and covered atleast 10 feet vertical distance, but what it received was minor scratches on back and nothing on the screen.
A phone which costs 38K should definetly have stereo speaker and OIS. The pricing doesnt look good for Indian market.

@@arjunsingh4514No they should have given at least 7+ gen 2 or 8+ Gen 1. iQOO Neo 7 Pro is giving 8+ Gen 1 at 33-35k.
And no charger in the box should also be considered.
Plus it has plastic back and 2 years of Android updates at almost 40k
Now it's available in 19k in Flipkart. Too good to resist

Mere paas tha honor 9i which was the first mobile having dual camera, my experience with that mobile was so good, it's clean ui impressed me so much. I wish honor's come back will be legendary ❤

Honor had great quality hardware and build quality back then.. I have bought Honor 8x in 2018 and its still working fine without any issues...

तब kirin प्रोसेसर मिलता था... मेरे हिसाब से सबसे बेस्ट प्रोसेसर...में भी honor8x use कर रहा हु 2018 से..एक महीने पहले तक वैसा का वैसा ही परफॉर्म कर रहा था जितना लिया था उस समय..400बार से ज्यादा गिर गया होगा..लेकिन एक महीने पहले छत से गिर गया..अफसोस कि फ़ोन टूट गया लेकिन ये कॉमेंट फिर भी उसी फ़ोन से कर रहा हूं...honor90 से भी मुझे वेसी ही उम्मीद थी लेकिन लग तो नही रहा है कि वैसा निकलेगा...हा कैमरा जरूर तगड़ा नजर आ रहा है

The actual issue is Indian taxes and extra money the company has to spend to sell that product in india
I don't know if you're aware that American prices are exclusive of all sales taxes as each state and county has their unique tax rate. Whereas in India 18% GST flat is applicable on all iPhones and when you take that into consideration the prices for iPhone 15 and 15 Plus are at par with America. But the 15 pro series is priced ridiculously probably because they have to pay import taxes as they're not made in India (not sure).

I still use Honor play and another Honor 9N is with senior citizen at home, both with its own Kirin Processor… Amazing performance no issues till date… using since 2018 …
i have honor view 20 and typing this message from that phone only..top phone in every department..processor can still compete with best mid rangers out there..battery also lasts a day atleast

Please update me about phone dialer feature. Does this phone has feature of saving contacts with photos in recent calls. Like redmi and oppo mobile phones because this feature is not available in iPhone and Samsung mobiles phones. Also please update about 3 button navigation option at the bottom.

Not 7 Gen 2..it was 7+Gen 2 which is Close to Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with better Thermal controls

Honor is basically Huawei without the Google ban. The UI will undoubtedly be very similar to EMUI and the phone will be very smooth to use. I really miss Kirin though. That chipset had the potential to match or even outperform Snapdragon and Bionic. 💯 Exynos felt like a TV box CPU in comparison to Kirin. 😅
