Try holding shift when you shutdown. This ensures a complete shutdown and not a stupid Windows 8/8.1/10 hibernation version of shutdown.
The next time you boot, IMMEDIATLY hit F12 repeatedly.

For all those having issues accessing the menu, this is most likely due to windows fastboot. If you disable it from the windows power button options, you will have more time to press F12
Taking out the battery and then simultaneously pressing F12 and power on brought me into the bios

Then how the F*%¤# do you boot a Toshiba Satellite C50D-A-133 in to BIOS? NO combination works at the startup screen! Not FN+F12, F12, F1, ESC, holding the keys down before or at same time as power-up or anything at all!

I think I ended up booting it using F12 JUST simultanseously by the boot, but it only working some of the times.
This did not work for me. What worked was to take the back off. Pull the battery, hard drive, and memory. Then jump the JPW right beside the RAM memory. Look for JPW written on the mother board. You have to jump it and turn the power on at the same time. Make sure the power cord is connect when you do this. It took several times but it worked for the Toshiba 50-B. Hope this helps.

I can not enter my legacy BIOS: Toshiba v2.10 (latest version), windows 10 legacy mode, on an Toshiba Dynabook Qosmio X770-13G. HELP?! Which button to press on start up? There is even no Toshiba logo that appears, it starts directly into Windows 10. I also changed the fast start up settings on the energypanel. Nothing helps.

@@j500j500laptoprepair hey hab eine Frage , das Ding kann doch nicht wirklich das eigentliche Bios sein? Also die klassische Variante wo man wirklich fast alles einstellen kann. Ich frag mich was das vom Hersteller sein soll diese toshiba setup utility bios, so unnötig, da dieser Art von bios eingeschränkt ist .

Remove the battery for few minutes and put it back. That should clear the bios password

WHERE IS THE CMOS BATTERY...WHERE IS THE CMOS BATTERY? Is it suppose to have one...YES/NO...So, I can go on with my life and repair my computer! Mine doesn't and I find it weird NORRRRRRRRRR does it have a fan...Just a silver plate where the fan would go. I THINK some1 jooked (Don't know if this is a word...just been saying it since I can talk...BASICALLY) me for my fan

Thanks for your response but I didn't quite understand the word serie but it seems you're stating the battery was not integrated in these laptops (which would explain why it's not there), is that correct? Additionally, I don't have a fan either. ...Got just a silver plate where a fan would be located but no fan. I thought it was impossible for a computer to run without a fan. I do recall leaving my laptop in my vehicle and just had it on a couple of hours earlier...When I came back to my vehicle, my laptop was not working (and someone has been going in my vehicle). Does it even come with a fan?
