🙏 So sorry for the people who lost their homes Big prayers for the fire to be contained
Prayers for all first responder and for the firefighters to have strength to finish the job
Two comments: (1) i watched a couple videos when this was first happening and the chat comments were shocking in that many said things something like it was a good thing because it was happening to “rich” homeowners which leads me to think that our society is really, really sick; and (2) when you see the number of trees and bushes closely surrounding many of these burning buildings you should not be shocked when insurance companies want to cancel fire policies. Please create a buffer zone around your home.
I too am shocked and sickened by such comments. Many, if not the majority, of California homeowners, are hardworking people who scrimped and saved to achieve ownership. Just look at the traffic every day. These are people s urrying to and from work. Not “rich entitled” people. Just providing for families, and a roof over their heads.
America is a third world country pretending to be first world.
People making those dumb comments likely aren't even educated. This area is not where "rich" people live.
Rip dogs
The Arsonist still has them.
Rip 🐶🌹
My heart goes out to those affected by this fire. I cannot imagine the pain they must be feeling.
God bless the firefighters and all the support excellent work.
Good watches have capacitors not batteries unfortunately God is for lithium miners to blame for California falling into the ocean 🙏.
RIP to those dogs😢🙏😔....thank God the people survived but its so devastating when animals get trapped by something so awful like this. I hope all these fires arent caused by arson?😞
My friend in San Diego had her fire insurance cancelled because of where she lives. They want $5,000 a year to keep insuring them. They are retired. They can’t afford it.

AND HIGH INSURANCE RATES FOR YOUR HOME
Hope everyone is safe 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Notice how the reporter blames the fire on heat and dry conditions. But if you look at the videos, you can see that these homes are surrounded by flammable trees. If you don't cut fire breaks around these homes, the homes will burn if the forest catches fire.
Prayers for the community 🙏🙏🙏
I lived in the L.A. area for many years. The pattern never changes: Winter time rain leads to the grass growing on the hills, and then it turns into 3' tall dried brush which burns in the summer. Especially when the Santa Ana winds start blowing. If you don't clear it out you are taking a huge risk.
I don’t understand why they don’t do brush clearance. They have these multimillion dollar homes and they don’t put in a pool so that they have water to pump and do the brush clearance. Yes, trees are nice. I spend a lot of my time about my place up in Oregon, but you remove things close to a home that’ll give you that clearance. 2020 hindsight doesn’t help. I feel devastated for these people, but they should’ve done clearance. There’s so many trees and so much brush around. I understand we all have these lush trees, but that’s the tender that goes up when the fire starts.
I agree, also I have seen houses in fire zones install sprinkler systems that spray their homes with water + fire retardant foam when flames get close. May have been worth installing those over losing your home.
Yeah, you could've just spent a grand or two to remove trees and tinder.
Those aren't multi-million dollar homes, in fact, that house was sub $500k. This area is just above a very depressed part of San Bernardino that has a major homeless and drug epidemic and the State, County, and City all turn a blind eye to it. This hill has multiple fires every year, set by the homeless. There are many empty parcels (right near these homes) that are owned by the city that I'm sure they don't clear since they had to file bankruptcy a few years ago. These poor people lost their home, pets, and just about everything else they own and will be fighting with the insurance companies for years to get a portion of it back, if they're lucky.
These are not multi-million dollar homes more like 600-700k. They look nice and look expensive but these homes are out far east where homes are cheaper. These people are middleclass and were looking for a better place for the buck and found this area. They cannot afford to clear a whole mountainside do you know how many acres and costly that is?? ... Stop blaming them.
@@rl332 CA insurers are requiring homeowners to remove trees within a certain distance from their home. No one is asking anyone to clear an entire mountain.
My deepest sympathies. So damn sad.
🙏🙏🙏😭I'm very emotional . 🙏God please stop the fire in San Bernardino . 🙏🙏🙏
Sad how it was all lost and will never be the same again. The more you lose the greater the pain.
This is the worst case I've seen because of the loss of the dogs.
My utmost respect to all the fire fighters. May God bless them and keep them safe, for their jobs
fighting 🔥 fires is
not easy.
That woman didn’t even mention her dogs! 😡
I can relate. This happened to me.
Me too.
@@Omar_Zazzle Really? Working all your life to lose everything is quite traumatic to put it mildly. For me, it's been 22 years and every day, and I'm still hoping to wake up from the nightmare.
Devastating, heartbreaking, blah, blah, blah. These reporters have no clue.
Not their fault. Just doing their jobs.
This why insurance companies are leaving California.
That is not true! It's Newsom's fault.
Who has been arrested???????????????
Why not have clearance around your house? So much dry brush which combined with high heat is a recipe for disaster. I'm always happy when I see people survive. You can rebuild a home or purchase a new home but your life can not.
What we still CANNOT talk about.
We just had some firefighters arrested for lighting up our churches.
Firefighter's do love to sing.
Big homes are just not worth it 😢
Why don't rich people unite and purchase private firefighting equipment? How much would a fire hydrant and hoses cost?
Fire defensible space a MUST. A-lot of planning of building a dream home ,up in flames…..Preventable in many ways . People think weed abatement.
Well, they DO live in a high fire zone, on dry hillsides..I live in LA and fires are a huge concern all over this area. You run the risk living here.
🙏🏻🙏🏻
Real estate frauds?
You are heartless
Everyone of these families , 4 wide screen tvs, 2 4wheelers, 3 walk in closets , 2 monstrously sized trucks with aftermarket rims ....
no defensible span plan.
I don't feel bad.
no house insurance, no rebuild. may the almighty rebuild their dignity.
Sorry about the loss NAM MYOHO RENGEY KYO TU UALL FROM LAFD CERT
It's an appropriate name.
Born and raised right down the road. This happens all the time, always has. Those folks ARE stupid for living there. History and Geography are your friends.
Don't worry your buddy Gavin will help you
Unfortunately,, anything can be taken away, what we have been working out for a lifetime
U rebuild and he will throw down
The insurance will cover it.
I'm sure they are some of the same people who decided they could light whatever fireworks they wanted and caused fires.
You people have nothing nice to say other than to batch on those hurting, you are such a waste of air!!

I feel bad for the ones that lost homes if they have compassion for homeless people. If they were those people judging and looking down on homeless now they can join them and see it's not easy and it only takes a minute to lose everything.

Be extremely careful? Laugh catches.
Maybe wooden house, but it sounds like you can't even afford that!! Jealous much.
Home insurance hello 👋
We've devolved into low vibe entitled jungle bunnies that grow marijuana indoors just to complain about power outages or fires created by them and dead firemen.
