Story for the sims who live in this house: Ophelia and Oscar who are adults and are married. They go around the world in there wagon which they use for there psychic booth. They take money payments but also cool Knick knacks that people don’t want anymore. The house is an old estate from Oscar’s great great grandfather who started the whole psychic business. Ophelia loves to read and to buy weird things from sellers at fairs (they go to fairs with their psychic booth/wagon). She makes her clothes and furniture out of old fabric and ragged clothes. Oscar loves birds and often buys things with birds in them. Oscar is also originally from Brindleton bay and they visit all the fairs they host there. Ophelia wears old fashioned clothing from her ancestors and random people at markets and fairs. They moved into this house when Oscars parents died in the house and he decided he couldn’t leave this house to a non-Martinez (his surname). Ophelia is a sassy but kindhearted person who did not want to take a man’s name so Oscars last name is now Payne as she thought the Payne name was too good to let go. While Oscar is a very nice and always is apologizing for his wife’s actions. She likes collecting dolls and he loves spooky things so they have a lot in common. They both don’t like electronics except when they watch the Og Addams family and other old black and white shows. They use the computer in the basement to study the world and look for things for sale. They love each other deeply and don’t plan on having kids. Also love the build ❤❤
I love the basement bedroom. The regular style window looking into the pool is so cool. This house really does feel like the home of a world traveling collector and adventurer. So many unque and beautiful furnishings. "It belongs in a museum" -Indiana Jones. Haha. I love that the house is built on a little island and has styles from many worlds that all work together in a cohesive way. My favorite part is how light the outside is and how dark the inside is. Very cool.
HOW do you make every freaking shell challenge look so good!! Like if I didn't already know it was a challenge I would never have guessed, it's just a cool build with a unique backstory. Amazing as always Syd!!

there are pretty sick "upside down" builds where you enter on the second flor and like the terrain level changes so from oneside a floor is under the terrain but from the other side its the first floor. i'd love to see you build something like that

It seems some countries have laws in place that forbids online marketing teams to use peoples personal data - in a way that would prevent EA from legally giving prizes to winners, if they are from those countries. This seems to me like a just and honest disclaimer.
For some reason this challenge was really easy for me! Normally I don't even finish them because I struggle so much but I got this one knocked out in no time 😃 I even made the aurora concept Sims to live in the house! Great build as always💕
Day 11 of suggesting this! Hey Syd! I have a build idea for you and I think it would turn out so cool with your creativity. The idea is to build a house that looks just like any home. It has a kitchen, living room, bathroom, couple of bedrooms, etc. The twist is that nothing in this house is actually functional. So you need to use objects that aren,'t fuctional or place items so that your sims can' t use them. They can't cook, go to bed or shower, use the toilet or sit anywhere. The challenge is to still make it look like a nice home. Just an idea I tought would be nice to share. Thank you for making so amazing content as you do

I think an oddities collector apartment or tiny home would be a cute idea. Like the slightly weird and curious items that the sims4 has that can be placed down all in one place. This house is a start, but I feel like you could so very easily expand upon it and make something super cool & niche.
I'm getting that the house belongs to the psychic but the traveller is a pirate who comes to stay when they take shore leave. Feels very 19th century pirate meets 1940s academia for the house.

It would've been so cool if you would've made like a underground bed room that has water around it kinda like a aquarium. You add big windows on the wall for you to be able to see the water 🤷🏽♀️

I love your vision with this so mich! Your style is so unique and eclectic and cute. I actually tried this as my first shell challenge. I turned it into a museum, child center thing. The basement pool became an aquarium, I left little aquariums exposed so people can fill the shrunken fish tanks before hiding them in the coral reef pieces then put some of the gators and ducks on top. The basement room had seating and a fish tank and frog tanks to study plus a bathroom. The first floor had a kitchenette, two napping spaces one child and one toddler and a TV area. Top floor had puppet theater, TV area and storage which led to a balcony which chess and plants and a ladder to a rooftop BBQ and picnic tables. Then had a music pavilion, painting area, sand play area and a fake playhouse plus a handmade sign. I'm quite proud if it. I'm Demiann26 on there so drop me a comment if y'all happen to come across it! I'm totally excited now to do more of these.
