#Nintendo #NintendoLocations - Игры
When I was younger, I remember loving to go around the Coment Observatory from Mario Galaxy 😅 Idk why, I just enjoyed walking around...
Didn’t everyone lol
Especially when we unlocked the red star
it was great
To be honest, the Comet Observatory always felt like home to me.
I did that it’s randomly one of my favorite memories from Mario galaxy haha! Walking around excited for things to unlock as a little kid 😂
I wasn't able to experience a lot of Nintendo games as a kid since I only had a Wii, but here's what my favorite 5 locations would be:
1. Cosmic Observatory
2. That one lava skeleton dragon roller coaster level in Mario Bros Wii
3. Final Destination
4. Mushroom Gorge
5. A recent addition since I'm still going through Pokemon Black, Castelia City
Dragon Driftway is Chinese-inspired, not Japanese. The track is themed after Chinese temples, color palette of greens and reds, the red lantern decorations, and the Lakitu kung-fu statues scattered around all indicate towards Chinese culture. Fun fact the distinct string instrument being played in the track is called the erhu.
Nothing feels more like home and being apart of a community like wuhu Island. I also love Jubilife village, phenac city from pokemon colosseum, windfall city from windwaker, and isle delfino from super mario sunshine
Shiveria was 100% the highlight of my first Odyssey playthrough.
It put me in the mind of Mario world-building at its best, like Paper Mario 64.
hey look its funny sock man
FINALLY some shiverian love, the experience of going through that cold desolate landscape only to find the cozy warm town is unmatched
Hey you should make a part 2 of this video. This was such a nostalgia trip and I loved it. Continue the good work
I never get tired of hearing you talk about Wuhu Island. Wii Sports Resort will always be my comfort game, and I’m happy you’re always there to express my feelings in words.
Outset Island, just the feeling of knowing there is something beyond your island gives you a huge sense of exploration and wonder
I’d love to see a part 2 of this because I really like hearing and talking about locations in Nintendo games. Atmosphere and setting are such underrated aspects of the games, and I’m glad you call attention to them.
Here are some of mine:
- Comet Observatory: obviously it is so beautiful with the music and everything
- Fossil Falls: powerful, daring music that goes beautifully with the lush landscape
- Zora’s Domain: my favorite BOTW location, such a beautiful kingdom
I really loved the Nintendo Land hub world and the Comet Observatory! Those are some of my favourite places in any videogame. This was such a nice video all the memories of these places made me so happy, good work
Hyrule Field is hands down my favorite. In OOT, it was just so peaceful during the day. Extra spooky at night though.
The best thing about nearly all these locations for me is how calming they are. When you’re an adult it’s just so nice to be able to escape for a while to locations like these and just relish in being a kid again
Possibly my favorite location in Nintendo is petalburg from paper Mario the thousand year door. It's just so peaceful and cheerful
I love how after your introduction to the location, there's a part where there is just the music of the location and a video of you just walking around there. It really gives a chance to experience the atmosphere in the location.
Very high quality video, good job :)
The mansion in the first Luigi's Mansion makes me feel both uneasy and at home. Nintendo created a really special setting for that game that I don't think the sequels have managed to replicate. It's so memorable that it might as well be my second home with how ingrained the layout is in my brain. Also, there's no such thing as too much Wuhu Island talk. Great video!
I love how diverse the games are
Some of my favorite locations are Space Junk Galaxy was always such a blast to go through. The slow pace of the levels made me look at what was caught in this junk pile in space and I love the platforms that form at your feet. Beach Bowl Galaxy is such a fun world to swim and run around in listing to that awesome tropical beach theme. Link to the Past overworld is so fun to travel around especially because when I played the game the map was broken and it would only show the rough location of everything and I didn't want to use a guide. So whenever I played the game which was at my Grandma house I would just boot up my save in the Sanctuary after I save Zelda and I would just go as far as I could with only 3 hearts and lvl 1 sword. I found the first dungeon but it took me forever to beat it. Found Karkarioko village, Lost woods, the swamp area where the ice staff is. Such a fun time roaming around the world. Phendrana drifts, cold, icey, filled with dangeoruos ice dinosaur things I love it. The sketchy research lab where you find out the test of Metroids with Phazon. The boss fight is a little annoying but the spider ball is so fun to use. The sercets are fun but the one articfat that makes you shoot some random crate with like 3 super missles was dumb, it was the only time i needed to look something up for the game and I feel like that crate HP should of been lower. Some of my favorite palces in Pokemon are the Sevii Islands. I just had such a blast exploring all the new islands, i think people dont give them enough love. Another area is route 119 and 120 in RSE. And there are so much more from many more games. Great video man I love your take on Nintendo's games.
One of my favorite locations from a Nintendo game would have to be the Lor Starcutter from Kirby's Return to Dreamland. It has such a warm atmosphere despite it being a bit small of a location, almost as if Magalor invited you to come spend some time on his ship and maybe take a break from the main adventure by checking out the ability rooms or the challenge stages. I also gotta love some of the details such as the rainbow keyboard Magalor uses to control the ship, or the fact that there are multiple floating blocks moving around along with the giant screen in the main area. The music is nice as well, going for a sort of whimsical feel, signifying that even though things look bad, there is still a bright side to look forward to. Another one of my favorite locations is both Lon Lon Ranch and Kakariko Village from Zelda Ocarina of Time. Both have a slow and relaxing tone compared to Hyrule Field's adventurous and triumphant tone. They also feature folks you can talk to and see how happy they are living their lives blissfully unaware of what is happening in the rest of the world.
Comet observatory is one of my favorites too but the music is what makes it great to me. As you progress through the game more and more instruments get added to the theme and that is a great touch
that moment in this video when it's just the music at the Mario galaxy comet observatory almost made me cry
Grateful to have discovered your channel. Nintendo stuff is enormously meaningful to me. My best buddies and I played Nintendo consoles since I was 6 and my late father got me a GameCube. A close family friend got me a Wii. Glad to have come across your stuff
bro this is such a good video, you're one of my fav RUclipsrs! I really love your video essays like this, and top 15 ost, and the power of title screens was insane as well! You should definitely make more videos like this!!
Mannn how do you not have more subs. Your videos are so entertaining and I'm surprised I just found out about it. Very good, high quality and amazing videos! Keep up the great work guy!
the wi-fi plaza in the basement of pokemon diamond/pearl/platinum will always be in my heart. loved just going there and hanging out
Your content is so great, you are just so calm and focus on the positives, I hope your chanel grows
You absolutely need to play the Metroid Prime games because Sanctuary Fortress from Metroid Prime 2 just might be one of the best looking areas in a video game. The artstyle unique, the level design is amazing filled with interesting enemies and a banging soundtrack.
I can't imagine compiling a list this small since there are some amazing places in just The Mario Kart series alone
It was pretty hard, my list started out with like 35 locations and I had to cut a ton which was painful
@@NintendoHero part 2 then?
You. You understand it. You get video games in the same way I do lol, I love these video topics etc, tiny moments and fav locations, video 'essays' on nostalgic games.. There's just so much more to these games than any non-gamer could understand, even some actual gamers. It's not just "reach goal, get point, fight" or just gameplay, kind of.. They're life changing experiences.
I'm glad wuhu island was in this video. I would pay a lot of money in order to live there
super mario sunshine is one of my all time favorite games and few levels in any game will beat noki bay for me. Exploring the ruins never gets old and the level content itself always brings a smile to my face
Great Video as always! Your Video about your favorite Zelda locations, is my absolute favorite, so this one was as expected a Banger too!
One little detail that I loved about one of your picks (spoiler ahead if you haven't seen the video):
The Dragon from the Mario kart track, is also a bossfight in Super Mario Galaxy 2! Back then, when the track came with MK8 on the WiiU, I instantly recognized it, I love all the little details Nintendo does. :D
Already knew this was a banger video when I saw the comet observatory.
Ah, so many nostalgic places, thanks Nintendo Hero and good video!
I personally love Ricco Tower, the first platforming segment in Mario Sunshine. The cool Mario Bros. 1-1 background and giant wooden-block platforms, along with great background music, makes it one of the best in my opinion. I agree with all of your points, however; I love Terrey Town. Great work!
i will NEVER get sick of you talking about Wuhu Island
Honestly I know this video is about locations but I still can’t get over super Mario galaxy’s music
Honestly all a location has to do to win me over is have good music lol. Great video!
Love these niche types of top 10s
I love Comet Observatory as much as the next guy, but the most memorable part is probably the skybox
I dunno, just those three star constellation things in that pattern just gives me *all* the feels
Another banger video! One of the few times I can say I have an answer to what my “favorite” is. Without a doubt, the original house from Luigi’s Mansion. If I had the time and money, I would build a replica. Also I see you flexing that 100% Skyward Sword 😂
I love making Smash Bros. custom stages based on video game locations, and this video gave me some great ideas. Thanks for your hard work!
Man The Areas in Paper Mario TTYD and any DKC game are my favorites of all time
This is a very interesting video idea, looking forward to watch it later!
My favourite is the original donkey kong area :D
I loved this video, some of my favorite places are Outset island 🏝 from Wind Waker, the look, the music, the heart worming idea of living with your grandma or parents in this place is amazing to me. Another one is Wuhu island, I’m from Puerto Rico so I’m an islander and that’s why I love this places so much. I’d love to bike around the island, stop at the house where you can hear Super Mario music and ask if I can join them to play. I’m with you with taking a boat ride with kappin, is so relaxing.
I’ve always wanted to have a picnic in Gaur Plains. (Obviously away from the monsters).
I could feel free fresh air blow through my hair as my family and friends eat with me. Maybe my dad is BBQing some bunnit.
Your videos are genuinely amazing!
I loved flying into the volcano at wuhu island and trying to not crash at the bottom but make it out alive
My top 3 would be:
1. Wuhu Island
2. Toad Harbor
3. DK Mountain
I’m never sick of wuhu island
Probably my favorite ever Nintendo location is actually the ending of Slimy Spring Galaxy in Mario Galaxy 2. Like as soon as you emerge from the well, you are hit with a sunset and like woah! This is a Wii game we’re talking about and that part looks like switch graphics.
No place beats Magicant imo, such a weird vibe and interesting creative concepts on both of its iterations
Nintendoland is such a fun game
I came up with this game based around wuhu, i think you'll the way i'd bring back the island
Some sort of adventure game themed around wuhu island for Switch and why not for 3ds console.
Heres the title:
The Lost Civilization of Wuhu Island
You just arrived at the wuhu town harbor with the queen peach, to enjoy your month of relaxation from all year long work, but as soon as you finish unpacking your bags at the cocoba hotel you decide to explore a bit the island at dawn before going to sleep. While traveling on car around the loop road of the island, you encounter the misterious ruins. You decide to stop, and check the ruins. After that, you decide to go back in town and talk with elderly locals and ask if they know anything about the ruins, they dont. After that, you return to cocoba hotel, and sleep. You wake up with the motivation of finding out who built the ruins, and this is where the Adventure trurly begins, you have to complete various tasks to obtain Nintendollars, used later to buy cosmetics for your Mii and buy equipment for the research, and the game diverges in different paths but all uniting at the end to find the truth about the ruins, when you finally finish the game, you can make daily quests to earn nintendollars to still customize your characters with a fully free roam wuhu and wedge island, including also multiplayer servers with which you can play with friends or all people around the world.
P.S. i could write an idea also for the summerstone castle, tell me if you want me to or you write it, basicly would be the same thing but involves the royal family of wuhu etc.
I LOVE Wuhu Island! I hope that, someday, we will get a game for the Switch where Wuhu Island will make a comeback. Doesn’t have to be sports related. Imagine like a Mii game on Wuhu Island with Animal Crossing and Stardew Village vibes. That would be amazing😌
Pre video viewing: I really hope wuhu island is on here!
5 seconds in: oh…nice
Thank you for sharing!
I live for these videos, thank you so much
Great job on this subject and I agree with so many of your picks. May I include the brilliant Go vacation as a lovely place to visit after a tough day and 'Fishing Resort' a great exploring island game (check out the walking through the under water tunnel). All I can think of right now but I know there are others 🤗. Wu Hu here I come 👍
my favorite nintendo location ever is Wuhu Island from wii fit bc i used to play that shit all the time when i was younger
One of my favorites has to be kakariko village from breath of the wild I loved the setting , the soundtrack and the people
i like how u like specific werid things
my favourites have to be the mario galaxy hub world, acnl and acnh islands/towns and mario kart tracks (coconut mall, waluigi pinball & mushroom gorge are my favourites), probably missed some but theyre probably my top favourite places
The island from tomodachi life is my favorite
So many others I also thought of:
Rogueport
Any Kakariko Village or Zora’s Domain
The Mansion from Luigi’s Mansion
The Movie floor, the great stage and the pirate floors from Luigi’s Mansion 3.
Cosmic Cove Galaxy
Starshine Beach Galaxy
Delfino Plaza
The forest and bramble levels from DKC2
Windmill hills and seashore war from DKCTF
The trophy and credits cutscenes from MarioKart Wii
The GameCube and Wii home screens
The minor circuit vibe from Punch Out Wii
The odyssey
Driving up to Peach’s Castle in MK64
The Wii, DSI and 3DS E-shops
The results music (good and bad) for Wii Fit games.
These aren’t all necessarily places but they all feel like it to me.
I really enjoy wii sports resort, I remember playing cycling with my sister and i also feel like its my secondnhome just like you do.
Paper Mario Origami King has 2 of my favourite locations: Shogun Studios and its version of Toad Town
A really underrated one is the hub from Mario and sonic at the rio 2016 Olympic Games (wii u)
honstly I like Uraya from xenoblade 2 more than Satorl marsh but that doesn't make Satorl any less beautiful, I can't wait to see the locations in Xenoblade 3
Liked the video once u said the snow kingdom
Can't beat the city resort from go vacation (or any for that matter). Countless hours spent there
Thank you man for uploading these type of videos. The situation in Ukraine is making me depressed and sluggish, plus I have exams soon so I'm stressed about it, having this mix is ruining me for the moment. However, discovering your channel recently has helped with distracting and calming me within these past few days. Keep up the good work and I pray you and your family are safe and healthy.
No one will remember it so I'll make sure they know. Bowser Jr. Boulevard from Mario Sports Mix is a sick stage. Maybe not a "location" but definitely a sick level with AMAZING MUSIC (SERIOUSLY LOOK UP THIS MUSIC IT'S SUCH A GOOD TRACK)
No matter what Wuhu island will always be no.1 for me

Haven't watched the video yet; let's see if I can guess some locations first
One pokemon region (Maaaaaybe unova?)
Inkoplis square
Wuhu Island (duh)
Rosalina's observatory
Peach's Castle
...Coconut mall or Raibow road maybe?
And let's say... Final Destination
EDIT:
Well, seems like I got 2 of these right
I think you used the wrong adjective for Dragon Driftway/Dragon Palace. Those places are more Chinese inspired than Japanese.
That's totally possible, I'm not very smart sometimes haha
wuhu island is elite
FYI Dragon Driftway is inspired by Ancient Chinese culture, not Ancient Japanese
I LOVE going through coconut mall in mkwii who else??
I know you would say Wuhu island
1. All of mother 3
Two words: The Roost
I dropped New Horizons after a month, and i'm pretty sure it's because the roost didn't exist at launch.
Ooooooooh shoot that's a good one, I wish I'd thought of that!
Delfino Plaza best hub world
SMG is the best game period
Wuhu island 💔
which xenoblade chronicles is this?
The first one, more specifically "Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition" on Switch
#bringbackwuhuisland
does anyone know what song 7:32 is????
That's the Jubilife Village theme from Legends Arceus
Day 2 of requesting a video for Lego the clone wars 👍
Second.
Cool video but theres definitely a lot of recency bias. Nothing older than wii here.
I think someone's channel got hacked...................
