Very well done. Thank you for posting as I will probably never make it to Dubai I appreciate the opportunity to view this wonderful Metro system through your lens. THANKS!
Da heißt die Ansage dann "...the train to Dubai Healthcare City will arrive / depart from Creek platform".
Singapore train system has east west line (elevated) north south line (semi) North east line (underground) circle line (underground) and downtown line (incomplete). All efficient, all more than 52km...
Wahrscheinlich einfach billig gebaut. ^^
Don't know if you are still monitoring these comments, but I found this fascinating. While I was viewing the train ride, I found myself wondering if there were any stores patronized specifically by the middle class. For instance, if you ride "el" trains in New York (City), you cross streets of small stores. Is there anything like that in Dubai?
Hi everyone, I'm going to Dubai in 2 weeks. I'm gonna book a hotel far away from the city coz it's cheapest anyway i need to know if I can take the metro at anytime during the night. thank you
My and my best friend been to Dubai last summer and that will be my first and last visit there. We rode the Dubai Metro Red Line and to be honest, it's a bit terrifying that it's fully automated.
To be that modern metro system I would expect faster trains. The speed is just irritating as so it is the exceptionally eternal time they spend in each stop.
Why should it be faster? An efficient metro system normally runs between 50-80 km/h, not more. Why? Because it's purpose is NOT to be the fastest system, but the most conveniant. Which means, that there should be enough space inside, that the train accelerates and decelerates in a calm manner, that the trains come frequently, that there are enough stations at conveniant places. You cannot have a calm acceleration or a good coverage with stations or many trains on the track, when you want to make it high speed. Just an example: When you have an average metro system, you have every 600 to 1000 meter a station. The travel time takes with 60 km/h just 40 seconds to a minute. And if you would ride 100 km/h, you would just decrease it for 5 to 10 seconds. But you would need much more energy to accelerate the train better, because otherwise you wouldn't even reach the 100 km/h, before the next station comes. But that means that standing in the train is dangerous. And the seconds saved are not worth it.
Retort city with retort subway. If I would design a model railway 1:1 at hot desert I would built switzerland alps landscape with snow and nice rack railways not such simple automatic subway.
This train night time riding was very good.

I think singapore's metro is very advanced and convenient!! Much like taiwan's
But not fully automated. That's the major distinction here, the Dubai metro is the longest metro system which is 100% automated
I went on Dubai mall by Dubai metro but the walk to the metro
Is so so Long
very good video
Nice metro
Well done I love dubai metro. Very Fantastic!
