I've been in Dubai for almost a year now, and made it a point to explore the metro lines. It really is an impressive feat, considering it was all done after the city had already been established. Above the freeway and below the city, even passing under the Dubai Creek (Green Line) -- really impressive. And the fact that it's all automated! I mean, no one drives the thing (You were standing where the driver would be). All automated -- from the exact stopping to the opening of the inner & outer doors, to the public announcements -- both on the platform and in the train -- of arrival & departure, of doors opening & closing.... And I see no closed circuit camers anywhere. I wonder how the system is operated and controlled, esp in the case of an accident/incident....

When dubai's metro station distance is long, train can be apply 110 - 120 km/h speed aside of just 80 - 90 km/h only.

What is a maximum speed?
Depends on the line. Usually it's 90km\h in some cases when the distance between each stop is significant it travels at 120km\h
that seems great. the train is fast and compared to the trains systems in the Philippines speed of the trains are 40 kmh and stations are short.
