Vincent the rattie was always the runt
he was whimpy and squeaky but never a c***
We found him today in a shocking state
that reduced us to panic; were we too late?
A mess in his face where his eyeball had burst
all bloody and gorey, t'was like he was cursed
We dashed to the vet in a moment or two,
threw the rat in her face and yelled "WHAT TO DO?!"
"he looks very pale and his eyes are all red"
She gave him the needle and now he is dead.
