    I bought this to replace my 40 yr old machine, bc plastic parts had broken or split on the various attachments. Unfortunately, this has so many parts that I couldn't figure out how to put it together, or how to pack it back up. Finding your presentation was a real gift! Thank you for being so clear and not assuming any level of common sense on my part!

    What a great video! I'm no longer "afraid" of my Kitchen Aid FP! I'm 64 years old and have been manually chopping and slicing by hand forever. When I unpacked my FP and took a look through the parts, I wondered if I had made a mistake. Your video just answered many questions for me. Now I'm so looking forward to becoming friends with my FP. I'm already thinking of dishes that I can make using the FP. One of them is my Summer Salad that usually turns out to be a two-hour prep (a LOT of ingredients). I'm so excited and will check out the recipes on your website.

    Used mine yesterday to process garlic and mixed herbs. I have had several different kinds of food processors and I never would have believed that such a large processor could handle 1 garlic clove and 1C of herbs. In three pulses, it turned them into tiny fragments of dust. Incredible! I am thrilled and can't wait for Thanksgiving.

    • @epicuricloud
      @epicuricloud  3 года назад +2

      Love that!!! For small items like that you can also have the motor running, then drop smaller items in through the top. Helps to mince small items when the hit the spinning blade - they bounce around and get minced up. But sounds like your pulsing worked great!! Love it! Enjoy!

    I’ve had this food processor for a year and only used it once to purée some canned tomatoes. I was so confused with all the different parts and placements for them. That was until a few days ago, when I watched your video. It made it so easy for me to understand how to use it. Thank you so very much. I made a wonderful soup using the slicer and the grater and whatever else I could use. I actually had fun prepping my ingredients.

    exactly what i'm looking for! you have no idea how much time is saved dicing. especially in the summer when you dont feel like sweating like crazy in the kitchen. this looks like i can drop and dice 2 small zucchinis, 2 carrots, 2 celery stalks, and probably even shallots with in seconds that would likely take me close to an hour to do.

    I learned how to use my blade and the dough blade. I wasn’t putting in the two part adapter. I absolutely enjoyed your demo of making pizza dough with the dough blade. I would have poured everything in at once. I see how helpful it is to let the dough work with the liquid available to it. Thank you so much.

    Just bought my very first Food Processor tonight. Decided to buy a food processor after I watched Anna Olson make marzipan in hers, so after much research, the size and dicer were the deciding factor since I'm the main cook for 6 (4 adults and 2 grandkids). So glad I found your demo. I was quite intimidated, but thanks to you, can't wait to use it. ✔

    Thank you for the video with the excellent demonstrations. I was struggling with how to get the pieces back into the bowl! lol I just received the 13-cup food processor with the dicing attachment as a Christmas gift. The only thing I am missing is the French Fry blade. I'm sad KA hasn't offered that as another accessory yet. I have had a previous KA food processor for years, and this is such an improvement. First. No hole in the bowl! No messy leaks or spills. Second, great idea to store in the bowl all the attachments, but I will probably keep it set up with the base blade since I use that most often. Third, the cover! What a concept! The cover for processing seals well, so no flour clouds from the bowl, and the storage cover is great if you want to leave your prep in the fridge or wait for the dough to rise. One less dirty bowl! Fourth. The cord wrap on the bottom is a superb idea. I made chicken salad yesterday, and couldn't believe how efficient it was. Thank you again for the video.

    Thank you for this throughout explanation on how to use this food processor. I love the slicing and dicing function.
    And the storage in the bowl function is so clever, because the truth for all attachment boxes is, if you need to store them away in a cupboard, you will not use them a lot.
    However, I would love to buy the french fries disc separately and I'm missing a tool for whisking. The 9 cup FP has a whisking disc, would be great if Kitchenaid would provide it for this FP as well 😊

    Which food processor would you reccommend for best dicing function? Thanks!

    • @epicuricloud
      @epicuricloud  Год назад +1

      Hello - the dicing accessory is not generally included in smaller food processors. As far as I know at this point dicing is only available on the 13-cup and on the Food Processor Attachment. The 13-cup has a larger dice, the Food Processor Attachment has a smaller dice size. You can see them here: www.kitchenaid.com/searchresult.html?term=dicing&tab=plp&plp=DICING%253Arelevance&plpView=list&clp=dicing

      @petermaier3725, I am debating too LOL. Recently I was looking at this 16 cup made by Homtone 16 Cup Food Processor, Cast Aluminum Food Processors, 5 Preset Modes Vegetable Chopper Electric, 8 Blades 11 Functions for Home Use, Stepless Speed Control, 650W. The price is the same as the Kitchen Aid 13 cups but it's 500W.
      Decisions, decisions....🤔😵‍💫😀

    Just purchased this from QVC. I have a smaller mini one from my daughter since the 80s, but lost some of the pieces. Loved your video. I was looking at the cruissant 13 cup processor but decided on the Kitchenaid since I have been using the smaller one since the 80s. Thank you again for such a great video. I will be using your recipes. Can you do the mixing for a cheese cake it this blender for a 9in spring pan?

    Nice video, I have a question do you think it would do a good job slicing sticks of Pepperoni? I have 2 food processors, 1 did a great job, 1 does a terrible job. The good one's broke and I'm looking for a replacement mainly to slice pepperoni/hard salami.

    • @epicuricloud
      @epicuricloud  Год назад

      Hi J.R. Thanks for reaching out. I will have to try it again. I can't recall exactly which model I tried pepperoni with. I know in the past I've had different results depending upon the brand/casing of the pepperoni. Some seem to be more dense. I'll reply here once I give it a try.

    Woud you please answer a question for me? I want to use the shredding blade and the cutting blade in the lower part of the processor at the same time. I used to own a Hamilton Beach processor that would allow me to grate cheese very efficiently. The normal cutting blade in the bowl was doing the fine grating of romano cheese shredded by the upper blade. Is this possible with the 13 or 10 cup version of this food processor?

    • @epicuricloud
      @epicuricloud  2 года назад +1

      Hi Anthony - I'm not 100% sure this would be a KitchenAid approved usage. But I have accidentally turned on with the shred blade and the metal multi purpose blade.

    I have the last model they put out and I had nothing but problems. I constantly had to remove the lid because large pieces of food would get stuck between the ring and the lid or food wouldn’t go into the bowl and would be circulating between the lid and the blades. How is this model for those issues?

    • @epicuricloud
      @epicuricloud  2 года назад

      Hi Renee - Do you have a 7 or 9 cup with the in-bowl storage? (kind of looks like this one but smaller?) If so, those round shredding/slicing discs have 2 positions. A lower and higher position so you can stack them for storage. Make sure when you want to use the disc it's in the higher position - it should be about flush with the rim of the bowl.

    • @epicuricloud
      @epicuricloud  2 года назад

      Renee - I made this video which goes over the 9-cup Food Processor - talks about the blade positions about 3:10 in the video. ruclips.net/video/2eheEDutK0U/видео.html
