This is what we started our printing business with. At the time it was 9k and paid for itself in 4 months! Thought it was fast at the time lol 😂 doing a speed test with 3” circles compared to the latex it’s 24 times slower. It makes money! A plus is that it will print 3 times better than the latex.

I’m a stay at home mom that sells stickers. I’ve mostly been doing it locally but recently started selling on FB and etsy with some success, this would definitely be an upgrade from my cricut and silhouette but I don’t know if its the right machine for me, or if there is something similar but better out there

there is always something better out there, what it comes down to is what will work with your situation. how much space do you have and budget etc. the bn20 or any ecosol or latex printer will be a huge step up for you. just stay way from larger inkjet machines to make stickers. this way you can do more with it. good to see you are doing well enough to upgrade!

Make some small 2x2 3x3 etc stickers and get all my customers and then from there move onto the bigger printers … I’ll be using the onboard cutter starting out … I understand it’s slow and won’t be a commercial speed equipment … it just means long nights right ? from what i can guess in terms of modest prints, you can go through about 40ft of roll (max width). that's about 2 normal 20ft rolls of material on designs that don't hog too much of one color. don't forget to take inflation into account. people are selling their designs for way too little and complain they can't make a profit. a t-shirt back in 2006 = $20 dollars.. don't be afraid to charge $30 for a printed shirt or $10 for an 8.5x11 sheet of vinyl stickers. on an unrelated note, plushies that you'd figure should normally cost $10 are selling for $50 on etsy and they ARE selling. that should tell the rest of us something.. up the prices on your wares folks, don't be shy about it either.

getting the bn-20a.. doing more than stickers though. shirts for sure. i currently use a wf-7610 with a craft robo pro plotter. it's not happening.. firstly, inkjet sticker paper is garbage. it prints stationary and nothing more. laminating the stickers for a more permanent application (trendy teens stick'em on laptops or phone cases), is a bit too expensive and just a waste of time. inkjet heat transfer for shirts is also a big no-no these days, especially if an organization wants a more permanent solution. i've cut vinyl already with my crp, works really well, but had to avoid advertising graphics because 3G opaque is garbage, as is blue grid (ironall). sublimation is a huge hassle, limited media (even subli sticker are a headache that require too many steps). laser is limited in print space, i tend to do 13x19s. big bonus with bn-20 is poster printing.
