I mean. Chuchu, Nago and Pitch's ENTIRE attacks involve using Kirby. Rick at least directly turns into the rock and is the one spitting fire, Kine turns into the ice cube and does the ice thing himself, Coo's the one who throws the boomerang feathers and does the parasol ability.... Chuchu, Nago and Pitch's movesets on the other hand don't.... Kirby's doing the throwing or attacking.
Him and Rick stomping little enemies like in Mario lol. Nago has an edge for me with the triple jump. It's a bit hard on certain stages with Rick and more prone to falling 😂
@@pappico Rick definitely has his advantages though, he can climb walls indefinitely and he can walk on difficult terrain unaffected (like ice and sand). I love Nago but sometimes he can't actually jump high enough to get out of a spot and you have to end up leaving him behind

Nago getting left behind because he can't jump high enough (I think that's in a level 1 stage) can be easily resolved with letting Gooey ride him, they'll automatically teleport to where Kirby is.

my top 5 favourite copy abilities in this game are: honourable mention: coo+clean, absolutely hilarious, but unfortunately not very practical 5: rick+stone, it’s functional and it’s absolutely hilarious, rickroll lmao 4: nago+fire, really fast fire rate, good range, plus nago is really acrobatic, probably the best ranged ability in the game 3: pitch+ice, i really like its good range and attack rate, helped by pitch’s good mobility, it’s just plain good 2: chuchu+parasol, it’s adorable, and blasts through levels easily 2: nago+parasol, take chuchu+parasol, and make it viable against *anything* except caves, you get the best ability combo in dreamland 3
All of these (especally ChuChu) should come back in future Kirby games! Why ChuChu especially? First off, the manga states that they are a couple, and look at them while on the Parasol!
Thats why I like ChuChu most , unlike the other animal friends they look so cute while they using abilities together (if only kirby 64 had the happy ending cutscene with them not with ribbon&kirby)

I will still stand by my opinion that the abilities system in Super Star, Adventure and modern kirby games is better than the one in Dreamland 2/3/Crystal Shards. I feel like having enemies providing the player unique abilities gives you more incentive to take boss abilities. And also because there are a few abilities that are fun that wouldn't translate well to the mixing system. Like Mirror, Bell, and Beetle. These abilities wouldn't exist if HAL kept the ability mixing in future games
What's odd to me is that this game is on super nintendo and yet it's not on the snes classic but kirby's dream course is but maybe this is internet download idk
