The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. Speaking with a consultant helped me stay afloat in the market and grow my portfolio to about 65% since January, even though I know it sounds obvious or generic. I believe that is the most effective way to enter the business at the moment.

I just came across your video as my husband and I are also in the process of buying our first home! We are in the cooling off period so anxiously awaiting news from the bank so comforting to know this is normal. Your whole video was very informative and explained simply. Also thank you for talking about when the SOLD sign goes on - I’m so waiting for that moment and wondered when it would happen so we can have our photo op! 🤣
Congratulations! Thank you so much, we tried to explain things in a way that non real estate people would understand. If you have any questions we would be happy to answer them 😀
Im in Melb too - and I did exactly the same as you. Spent a year looking and lost out on my first offer and was so over it, I ended up with the asking price. ALTHOUGH, I did learn to ask 'What price do they want to sell?' because agents will sometimes tell you whether or not the vendor is keen to sell or is non-negotiable.
I'm so glad I found your channel. I found this video really helpful. I purchased an off the plan house with my partner in the Geelong region in February 2020 and we are hoping the land will title within the fortnight. We really have had no idea what we've been doing throughout the process, we've just been fumbling through it as we are both first home owners and didn't go through a mortgage broker. We just went through our bank as we were with the same one. Also subscribed for your grocery hauls because we spend an exorbitant amount on groceries each week and we need to work on lowering that!
A very useful video and your honesty with the facts and numbers are refreshing. Just migrated to Australia and wanting to buy our first home so I found this video very useful. Thank you and all the best to the both of you. Cheers
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with purchasing your first place (congratulations!). It was very insightful and helpful for someone who is just starting to dip their toes into the possibility of purchasing here in Australia (albeit Brisbane 😉)
@@santiago-xd8771 instead of a house? We didn’t consider it, purely because the price of an apartment will only ever be what the apartments next door will cost. There isn’t much room for ‘making money’ on it. It also didn’t fit into our lifestyle 😀
Absolutely loved this video. As a fellow Aussie real estate investor I really appreciate your efforts mate. Thank you so much for this valuable information guys🇦🇺😀
I really liked your video. I've watched so many videos now which give the same "tips" about buying your first home but your video covered a lot more of the full process. Very informative. You mention in the video that you have to go into the agent to make an offer which I don't think is necessarily true. I've made offers on property via email and had them approved. As long as the offer is in writing.
There's a lot of ...but...if...if a person is paying rent on time all The time for 10/15/20 years at barriers to stop THEM buying a house..because if everyone buys a house who's going to rent? ??????
Thank you so much for clicking on this video. Don't forget to like and subscribe ♡

$5000 more ??? Your offer was $530,000 then you paid $580,000 = $50,000 , ask to see the other party's offer in writing , maybe the Real estate lied !
Thank you for the tips.
We have started looking for buying a new house and this is so confusing thing
Thanks for a great and informative video! My partner and I are also looking to buy a 2 bed unit in Melbourne, which suburb did you guys buy in?
