I did not expect to be watching a video of a man in a purple jersey rambling on about cycling when i woke up this morning. But holy crap this is a refreshing concept man, especially here in Singapore. Great video, Jasper!
Your video production is really good; it’s so nice that sing cycling scene got someone with video production experience ; fonts ; colours and OSD all looks pretty and calming ; 😊
Old Francis Cade? to be fair i think CADE Media is doing alright their more recent stuff is also really good i love both Jasper's videos and CADE's videos. Just saying their newer stuff isn't less good than their older videos.
great commentary. i'm cycling alot, but sometimes still struggeling with "going through everything" on a long(er) ride, like everything up to 2hrs. It needs a certain focus on process and the endgoal. keep spinning, keep on it. u deliver this very well - motivating and inspiring, also for longtime, amateur riders:) since i tend to talk and think to fast, i'll just try to stick to one sentence of yours: "don't get carried away". Really good video!
@@claudeschweizer3932 hey Claude! Thank you!! Do you mean cycling alone for 2 hours? At the start I used to feel it was hard to sit through 2 hours. Then I started listening to podcasts and music (which really helps) the other thing is the feeling you get when a 2 hour ride starts to feel like a normal ride! And when you feel stronger it just keeps hitting you, making you want to go longer! So keep at it! Timing doesn’t matter actually as long as every ride is fun 😁
@@vilecorpses88 very valid point with the 2hrs starting to feel like a normal ride. that comes after like an hr (for me) and in the end (longest after like 3hrs constant, lil stops included) i feel like i could go on forever, and when i come home, i see my body in the mirror, all muscels tense and in action. Love that feel. It‘s kinda the discipline to get through the first hour. Also i don‘t like too heavy sunshine for my bikerides, so i‘m a bit picky :) love autumn for riding. Equip and so on make a big difference aswell. I know that, since i can compare my old bike (lightweight bmx, which broke) to my actual one. It‘s way more motivating and rewarding with a goodquality roadbike and the right equipment. Nah man Rifle Range at 4-6 am is extremely scary especially at the end where your light can't even shine what is at the end. It is like cycling towards a wall of darkness. You can't even see what is in front of you. But cycling rifle range in the day is extremely nice would strongly recommend XD.
I do wanna visit Rifle Range and try riding there but i feel like i need to have the proper road bicycle for it. Not sure if riding there on my tri-fold would be ideal

@@vilecorpses88 Thanks. I have tried Garmin Virb already, didn’t work. I am giving the trail version of Telemetry Overlay a go, see if it would work with my Insta360 go 3. There are also a few other drawbacks, like only work with the mobile app (slow WiFi download from camera) and not dealing with pauses very well. @@suisinghoraceho2403 Hey yes! He's also using the same one as I am! It's probably the only one that allows you to really customise everything. It takes a while to learn but it has everything! @@vilecorpses88 playing around with it at the moment. Have to say, the way they bunch different gauges in different categories doesn’t make a lot of sense.
