Great video! If I have an ASC that is doing well, how should I scale it? Does adding more than 20% ruin the performance? Should I duplicate the ad? Not sure how to scale these new ads. Also, how many ASC should you have?

Hi there. We'd add incremental budgets to scale, and monitor performance. Perhaps an additional 5% and up to about 30% of overall budget allocation if it continues to provide CPAs that are comfortable. Current Meta guides say that you can assign 80% of budget without returning to learning, but we've seen varied results there. We've got campaigns running about 4 ASC campaigns with various optimisations without cannibalising results. Hope this helps! - Sam, Paid Social Analyst

how long before it has fully learned? We are on day 5 and we are on $94/conversion. Our budget is $400/day. Should I continue to trust the process?

Are you seeing better or worse performance when you select shop+website for destination?

We haven't run any specific split tests for that, but as always, testing both approaches can't harm and may offer some helpful insights. Meta recommends using both if available to you. Hope that helps! - Alex, Senior Paid Social Analyst

would you recommend this to small e-commerce businesses with less than $10k ad spend?

Yes, for sure. It's far more efficient because it competes in multiple auctions, leading to cheaper ad costs and better performance. In split tests we've run, we've seen an average of a 24% reduction in CPA. Hope that helps - Ella, Snr Paid Social Analyst

Enjoyed your video. If an ecommerce store then the content is your catalogue rather than creative. Do you also advise creating another campaign that has graphical assets?

Hi there. We'd suggest using both DPAs and brand assets within one campaign. The campaign type is designed to shepherd people through the funnel, so requires everything. But testing both against each other might help you figure out whether you should be using other asset types in your BAU activity - so there are pros and cons for both, budget-dependent. Hope that helps, and thanks for watching! - Sam, Paid Social Analyst
