    Hi Josh, thanks for your informative video!
    I have a question: When I create multiple ads to test against each other, Facebook tends to allocate most of the budget to the top-performing ad. However, I’d prefer the budget to be distributed equally among all ads to get accurate data and determine the true winner. How do you manage this issue?

    Great video. I understand how Advantage+ campaigns with broad targeting work well with products like food. But some basic demographics like income, location and age need to be targeted for some products. For example, I sell an insurance product that is only for those making at least a certain amount of money and within a certain age range and is best for those only in certain states. It would not make sense to show my ads to those outside these specific parameters. So how could it be budget efficient, or how could it even make sense to use or trust the Advantage+ Campaign? I like the ease of Advantage+ Campaign, but can it still be trusted when more specific targeting is needed? Should the optional Audience Suggestion be utilized in these cases?

    Hey First up I would just like to acknowledge the great content you've been taking out lately. Your video productions have improved dramatically. Great Work! & wish you the best in growing your channel.
    I would love to see you cover how to handle a multi-product store; say over 100 SkUS or more than 20+ product categories? Do you run a single dynamic product catalog of all products in one AD in one A+SC campaign or run various ads in one campaign perhaps segretating with running catalog ads based on product categories? It would be great to see you cover these nuances for a store which has various kinds of products using advantage+.
    Cheers!

      Thanks for the kind words! We have big plans for videos coming up!
      If the store is under $1m/year we recommend they pick what we call an "EPF" or an evergreen product funnel. Select 1 product that will be your entry point for all new customers on Facebook ads. If you focus on too many products at one time, you'll find yourself distracted and unable to refine your funnel. And then we use dynamic product catalogs to retarget people with what they've been looking at on your site. Once you begin to stabilize in your singular EPF, you can begin branching out. We would then launch a new Advantage+ campaign with another EPF. So, each Advantage+ campaign will only focus on 1 EPF.
      Note: An EPF can be 1 product, a collection, or a site wide offer. But you only need 1 EPF as an entry point!

      @@TheEcommerceAlleyinteresting... Thank you!
      So you are suggesting really dedicating an advantage+ campaign to a singular product(i. e EPF's) and once hitting stability opening up a new campaign with another EPF. It makes sense but then one is limited with the 8 A+SC only which is fine however it could lead to inventory being too skewed towards the EPF products making it very challenging to turnover other products in the catalog.
      So you're also saying to run dynamic retargeting catalogs manually not with an advantage+ campaign?

    • @TheEcommerceAlley
      @TheEcommerceAlley  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, and the skew is actually a good thing when you use it properly. Buying deep into one product. And once you have customers, we utilize email/sms on the back end to sell additional products as well.
      In our mentorship we have clients (and even examples in the video i.e. "lobster") that reach a $1m/year run rate with a single product.
      However, that doesn't discount the fact that an EPF could be a collection as well. For example, we have a client that sells dog collars/scarves/leashes. Her EPF is her entire scarf line. So she has 1 A+ campaign for her scarves. And in the last 30 days she spent a few thousand dollars profitably on that one campaign.
      Hopefully this adds additional clarity! By the way, we do teach about the importance of an EPF in our Scientific Facebook Ads Course, if you want to learn a bit more about it! :)

    Hey great video and thanks for sharing your knowledge. Can you tell me this about adv + please: I am running a shop with multiple different products. should I just fill one adv+ campaign with ads for all products or create separate adv+ campaigns for the products?

    Thanks for the great information! I wonder though.. everything goes so fast in the development around Advantage plus.. would you say that what you say in this video is still best practice? Specifically thinking about "only" using 3 ads in a campaign..isn't that the opposite of what Meta says?

    • @TheEcommerceAlley
      @TheEcommerceAlley  Месяц назад

      Pretty relevant. But number of ads depends on ad spend. For most people spending under $500/day, you can easily have 3-5 ads and be good for a long time. We have a campaign that’s spending about $3-4k/day right now that has 14 ads in it. More spend = more ad volume!

    • @kunskapstavlan4251
      @kunskapstavlan4251 Месяц назад

      @@TheEcommerceAlley Thank you! It is just so confusing since Meta is pushing for ALOT of ads... even though we have a spend of $600 per day.. Also, do you agree that you should take decisions after approx 100 klicks per ad, if to turn it on off etc..? Or what is your "time/volume"?

    Thanks for the great video. Do you create one campaign per country or add several countries?

    • @TheEcommerceAlley
      @TheEcommerceAlley  8 месяцев назад +1

      Depends! Mostly, we find that giving Facebook majority of control is better... so lumping all countries in 1. However, you don't have control over which country gets the most spend... so if you want 80% of spend to go to US and only 10% to CA, maybe a separate campaign for those would be ideal! Just depends on what is most important to you.

    Question: In your course you reccomended not utilizing "all optimizations". Is there a reason you have changed your mind on this? Or is this specifically for ADV+ campaigns you reccomend using all optimizations? Thanks guys! Also side note: I can 10/10 reccomend their course. I went from losing money, to quite literally tripling my business with their testing strategy. Im a systems guy, and this system has brought structure and peace of mind when it comes to ad spend. Ive reccomended this course to 3 other business owners already.

    • @TheEcommerceAlley
      @TheEcommerceAlley  8 месяцев назад

      Dude, this is so awesome to hear! Thanks for the kind words! In response to the optimizations question... If you're referencing the ad lab - you still should not include optimizations at all for those tests. That would drastically skew results and you don't have control over if people do or don't see the optimizations. We used to not recommend optimizations for any campaign because you could not use a post ID to carry social proof... now, however, we find that leaning into Facebook and letting the AI do the heavy lifting (ex. Advantage+ Campaigns, optimization, Advantage+ audiences...) works better than ensuring you're carrying social proof between all your ads. So - short answer - for most conversion campaigns use optimizations! For the ad lab, still never use optimizations to ensure a clean test.

    If the ad account is new so should we start from cbo/abo or advantage plus campaign? for e-commerce.

      If you have proven assets, you really could go into any kind of campaign. However, we’ve seen Advantage Plus work for new and old ad accounts alike! Give it a shot, and follow out “optimizing and scaling Advantage Plus” video for tips on how to know if it’s performing properly!

    Thanks for the value you always share. A quick question please: If I have been running an ASC in 1 country and want to test another country with the same product, do I have to start over again with manual campaigns then move to ASC or since I already have data, I can start directly with ASC and just change the location to the new country? Thanks once again.

    Thank you for the great value! I've just completed my lap test and am ready to move my winners into the Advantage Plus campaign. I noticed your recommendation to move only three ads to this campaign. Could you clarify why? I keep reading that ASC+ works best with many more ads. Also, if I initially add only three, can I add more later as part of the optimization process? Thanks!

    • @TheEcommerceAlley
      @TheEcommerceAlley  7 месяцев назад +1

      3 is our minimum, as we have also seen the more ads you have the better it does. However, we have seen most A+ campaigns do best with 3 ads. Probably the best thing to do is start with 5-7 and widdle down to top 3. But, starting with your top 3 ad lab winners is the best start!
      We are looking into your comment about the ad planner and we will have a new link to you shortly! Thanks for bringing that to our attention! :)

    Hello, I recently found your channel and I love it! Question: I'm selling women's clothing, and I have around 6 winning products that come in different colors. I also have a couple of videos and images for each promoting each product. So, do you suggest putting all products in one Adv+ campaign ($240 daily), or in separate campaigns at $40 each daily? The products are dresses, 3-piece sets, 2-piece sets, jackets, etc. Thanks!

      Hey! Glad you found us! :) Preference-wise, we’re fans of deeper vs wider. Ex: why not go all in on one collection or product vs so many? That would optimize the best. 👌

      Thanks for your reply! Just to make sure I understood your point, do you mean I should first focus on one single collection and expand from there? Hey, if this are proven assets, then would it not be easier to copy over the post IDs, rather than rebuild the ads from scratch?!

    • @TheEcommerceAlley
      @TheEcommerceAlley  7 месяцев назад +1

      We prefer to build the ads from scratch and create different placements for each. Using the post ID essentially adds delivery restrictions to Facebook and we want to remove as many delivery restrictions as possible when going to a conversion campaign.

    Hi! My non-profit I work for keeps running into the same issue- we have advantage + sales campaigns running, but it only lets us put 1 AD in each ADSET (I know you can't have multiple adsets, but it should let us do more than 1 ad.) Whenever we try to add the 2nd ad, it says "you cannot have an ad that has political creative". It's so weird. So we're having to make a different campaign for each ad. Any advice? Helpful info: we have to click the special ads category "social or political issues" because we are an environmental non-profit.
