    There is a court case between the Nation of Japan and the US about this. It lists a few places where Agent Orange was being stored, used and still buried on the Island.
    When I used this as evidence of exposure though, the VA just said that those places weren't listed in the PACT Act.

      This is what I don’t understand about the PACT Act. If you were exposed to a harmful toxin, then it should not matter where or when it occurred during your time in service.

      The VA is correct. It's not in the pact act but so what..that is irrelevant so claim it separately from the pact act and appeal if you have a diagnosis, exposure and nexus from an IMO

      @denniskowalski8442 I didn't list it as a PACT act claim, they just pushed it as one

      @michaelcase8231 yes they do that to misdirect or mislead but as long as you have the three pieces of proof. In service incident , diagnosis and medical nexus then appeal. Whether you or the VA went down the pact act road should be irrelevant to your case.
