I love your presentation. Some history ( for those that didn't know) about Patty, then right into the song. Very nice and calming. Isn't it strange how people just drift away from each other. Happens all too much. ✝️🇺🇸
Patty has such a beautiful voice. She can sing traditional Country Music. She can also add a little spice re: I'm That Kinda Girl. What a great pick and analysis P.J.
It's a crime that Patty isn't in the Country Music Hall of Fame. Not only for her solo career but she has sung harmony on so many hits for other artist. Too many female artist in country still aren't getting their due.
I LOVE Patty's voice. She's one of my favorites. Check out Patty with Chris and Morgane Stapleton at this year's CMAs singing "you'll never leave Harlan alive". Absolutely otherworldly
This is a great song! One of my favorites. Always gives me goosebumps. They didn’t even know each other in the end ☹️. Became strangers to each other 😔. Happens too often! Patty did so many great songs. Great reaction as usual.
what a picture this paints - what song writing here ... i hadn't heard this in a while but oh i remember it now. her beautiful voice is dripping with the sadness and loneliness these lyrics speak, driving it's message straight to the heart. i think i better go look deep in my husband's eyes and kiss him like i mean it. if i don't, and don't do that often, then i, like anybody else, run the risk of squandering exactly what this song talks about. love is to be nourished, maintained, cherished - and it is a two way street -- not to be taken for granted is it? patty loveless is a true artist as she sings, painting with words such true to life songs. i can tell her music speaks to you too ... thanks for taking me along on your back road country "tour" :)
I've heard this song a good number of times. It's more true of more relationships than we'd like to admit. Still I like to hear Patty sing it. Thanks again.
I’m posting this to Patty on Twitter along with Travis Tritt and Keith Urban. Keith and Travis has been very outspoken about wanting their music shared. I love Keith’s quote - If it’s your neighbor, a stranger or a friend, all I care about is that music is being discovered.
Patty Loveless .. loses her love in this powerful song...... it happens to so many these days.... everyone so busy with their lives... work.....and lose touch with their partners,,, until it becomes painfully too late....... great song and reaction Dj Pj...... ...
Djpj. -dont toss us away and you dont seem to miss me along with blame it on your heart are 3 of my favs. But ANYTHING patty does is great.! The POWER in her voice is unmatched. ( imo ) this one just hits soo hard! In a way most can relate to.. sad as it is. You really wont find a bad song she does. And then she has done duets with vince gil. George jones. Etc.just an amazing voice and such a pure country voice. Wish she was still puting out music . Good to spend 5-10 min with everybody again. Thanks djpj. Til the next time.. F-DW.-11/27/22
Contempt is the number one predictor of divorce. Once you feel true contempt for your spouse, for whatever reason, there’s pretty much no coming back from that.
@@tiacalhoun3841 yes, they are both strong & talented women! I love the one you said...Good as I was to you!! My favorite of hers!! The song I put Pam Tillis is...No Use Crying Over Spilled Perfume is also one of my favorites! We'll have to team up on him! Together so we'll get our songs! lol You hear that Hip hop Dj? lol 😁😂 Hey Mister DJ put another song! lol
When you’re done with Patty, would you react to some Brenda Lee. She started performing when she was a kid way back in the 1950’s. You’ll like her, I think. “Dynamite” is one of her firsts. It was Rock n’ Roll. Music. She ended up doing Country finally. She’s a tiny little thing. By the way, one of my favorite songs by her is “Everybody Loves Me But You”.
Such a sad song. Patty Loveless has such a great voice. When she sings backup for another artist, you can tell it's her voice. Like so many female Country singers, she's overlooked. There are so many great Ladies of Country that are not inducted into the Country Music Hall of fame. I looked it up & there are only 15 women. Plus a few from groups like the Carter Family & Jim Ed Brown & the Browns(Jims 2 sisters). So many others need to be honored. But it's the men who are picked. I think its time for Donna Fargo, Lynn Anderson, Charlie McClain,, Susan Raye, Tanya Tucker, Jan Howard, Janie Fricke, Gail Davies, Crystal Gayle & Christy Lane to name a few.
She's one of my favorite female Country singers. Emmylou Harris also.
What a song! Growing apart is described from both perspectives.
One of the True Country Ladies of Country Music! She belongs in the Hall Of Fame!
The best thing about this is that she sounds exactly the same now as she did here, 30 years ago.❤
Patty Loveless is one of a few artists that sends shivers down my spine with her opening note. I guess it’s that Appalachian DNA.
Thank you, Pj-roc. This song always gets me.
Incredible song, Incredible reaction!

Awesome is all you can say. Patty is in a league of her own and is one of the greatest of all times.
Wilburn Brothers SWEET harmony. Their show, Bill Anderson show, and Porter Wagoner show were must see every week.

Love Patty. Such a talent
She is stunning in this video..I love her duets with Vince Gill. ❤
Patty won CMA album of the year for "When Fallen Angels Fly". Only the second female to ever win it up to that time.
Probably my favorite female voice in the industry, she’s incredible. Thanks PJ, keep ‘em coming!
Such a sad song about a too common situation. This is country.
Recommend Vince Gill’s first single “When I Call Your Name” when Patty sang back-up vocals for him. Haunting.

You know Loretta Lynn was on The Wilburn Brothers show a lot back in the day when Patty Loveless was in their band
She's married to an INSANELY talented entertairer...Emory Gordy. My father has played with him.
Gotta love her East Kentucky mountain sound! Shout out Pike County Kentucky
one of Patty's great songs hard to find one i don't like
Bartender, a beer please. No, I dont care what, I am sure anything will work to sit here and bawl my eyes out into.
That one packed a punch!
Yikes!
Great song, great singer, great reaction
So much better to be lonely alone🤗
Such a sad situation, once a marriage gets to this point it’s pretty much over 😞

Another great song by a female country artist is “Good as I was to you” by Lorrie Morgan

This is true, raw country music. Patty Loveless is a cousin of Loretta Lynn and Crystal Gayle.

Can or have you reacted to Bette Midler's song the Rose or my 1 true friend??
@Annie's Crafts
I have not, not yet. Should I?
I heard that her and Crystal Gayle was Loretta Lynn's cousins
Crystal Gayle and Loretta are sisters ….. Patty is their cousin
Patty Loveless is a cousin to Lorretta Lynn and Crystal Gayle
