- Michael Clifford, Luke Hemmings, Ashton Irwin and Calum Hood of 5 Seconds of Summer are opening up to ‘Extra’s’ Katie Krause about their new single, ‘Complete Mess,’ and how it sets the tone for their highly anticipated fifth album. The guys talk about the growth they’ve had over the past 10 years of being a band and what it’s been like navigating fame. Michael dishes on his first year of marriage to Crystal Leigh, and Luke Hemmings finally sets the record straight on his rumored marriage to Sierra Deaton.

@@donnav7103 The financial part of this level of successful world class musicians is great, but...the grueling schedule, all the pick up and go with travel every couple days or less for months on end when on tour. Who knows what was going on with their schedule at the time of this video:) I suppose that point comes where everybody wants a piece of you. Calum always seems "chill":) He's probably a great presence for the other guys when things get wired.

It’s so cute watching Michael and Luke crack each other up. Of course the boys are all best friends but you can totally see that early friendship between the two of them still today 🥰 this was such a great interview!! I can’t wait for more content I’m so hyped

They've been one of my favorite bands ever since I first heard of them 7 years ago and I'm honestly so happy to have experienced and witnessed the growth of this band. I truly feel like I've grown with them and their music.
I wish them nothing but success ♡ they're so talented and never disappoint!
... I do hope to have the opportunity to see them live again some day, as in 2017 they came to my country and I had a blast. They're very talented performers and interact with the audience a lot. Also so so sweet, as the audience where I lived was so loud and hyped, they played the first chords of Lie To Me (unreleased back then) as a thank you to us. I remember Luke(? Asked us if we wanted to hear the new album and the crowd went wild, and Michael started to play the guitar. A year later after said album came out I realized I heard ltm live for the first time ever lmao.

Yall laughing when Luke said don't bother us again, but he and Michael are newly weds or recently married. I wouldn't be surprised is they take some time off. Ashton and Luke both have solo projects. They are humans who are entitled to doing whatever else they want to do in life besides music. Of course I do not want them to, but lets be real, I feel like every time they joke about something there is some truth to it.
Still hoping to find 5sauce in my local supermarket but so far nothing but jokes.

This is my favourite clip video from them and I ve been following them for more than 7 years now! I can t wait for the new album and I can t wait to see them live. i loved the interview! i liked when Cal mentioned learning about what boundaries are important to oneself. I think it's kinda fucked up that when a band/group/artist is new in the industry sometimes in talk shows, variety shows and such, people feel entitled to ask the most inappropiate questions or just make them do really silly stuff they do not want to do. It's disrespectful
