Ash casually saying the most insanely poetic sentence I've ever heard: "What's the resting heartbeat of the world?" Michael completely shattering the moment: "Very much 150" I love them so much 😂
So Michael's dad was the one to encourage him to play guitar and keep at it and now he's out there seeing people's reactions his son's band and how everyone falls in love with him and his musicality. Thank you Mr. Clifford 🥹
There's a difference between playing guitar and knowing how to play songs on the guitar. Have you seen michael's fender exhibition? He doesn't play anything in 20 minutes cause he doesn't have an understanding of the instrument, he just understands some chords and songs. Not hating, just facts.
I love this interview because it’s not everyday you get an interview about their story and how they got to where they are today but these boys truly deserve every single thing they’ve accomplished I’m so proud of them it’s crazy how far they’ve come it’s amazing to see how close they are and they’ve become closer as the years go by and they are just my favourite people ever
this interview was truly amazing, thank you so so much for your well thought-out questions, Dometi! i think i can speak on behalf of the 5sos fam when i say this, it’s clear that you took your time to get to know the band and where they came from, engaging every member in the conversation and letting them tell their story and share their thoughts. honestly i am just so happy and grateful this interview exists and that we got the chance to get an insight into the new album. i’m even more excited now. and i gotta say, i missed our boys so much
“I would really like to be remembered as a great Australian band that you couldn’t really get rid of because they kept writing great songs.” The fact that Luke said this was so funny to me, because that’s actually how I feel about them. I got into 5sos during Heart break girl so like 9 years ago. I was sooo into them until after Sounds good feels good. I didn’t really follow them after that till one day I was like “… what are the guys up to?” And I checked out Youngblood and was like “Damn this is great.” After that album I kinda went away and in 2020 I again was like “I wonder if 5SOS made another album”. Then I listened to CALM and was like “bro this is sooo good.” I joke around with people that 5 Seconds of Summer keeps reeling me back in. I stop keeping track of them, but as soon as I see an album released I run to it like feed me! You guys make such great music I cannot stay away.
this is sooo relatable "i wonder what my fave band is up to" every couple of years when life gets in the way but always so hyped when we get "back on track with 5sos
This was a really great interview, Dometi was really respectful of 5SOS and they actually gave real answers for once! But the only thing that really struck me was how BIG that couch was? For all four of those guys- who are NOT small- to fit and have space? That's a big couch!
@@simonehansen4350FRRRR thats what i was thinking about too, this is the best 5sos interview I've seen, i hope he can interview them in the future again

One of the all time best interviews for 5sos! Thank you for focusing on them and their story and where they started to where they are now. This interview was a no bs style that more interviewers should take. Thank you ❤️ looking forward to 5sos5!!!
to see how far they’ve come and how theyre still so committed to making music and growing together makes me so proud. they are my all time favorite artist and have been for almost 10 years. such a refreshing interview :)
You know there are a lot of bands with amazing music... But 5sos to me is something unique idk how to describe it. Ive rarely seen a band with all four members so stoked about being in it. I am proud to be a part of this fandom
i really can’t explain why but this interview has such a calming (no pun intended) and inspiring effect on me i love this interview so much thank you! the way he tried to interact with every single one of them, being patient and really listening to their answers and letting them take their time to answer!!! really really enjoyed watching this :) on another note: i’m so shocked every time ashton starts beat boxing 😂
This is probably my favorite interview of 5sos that I've seen. The interviewer asked great questions, and I love seeing everyone in the band look so comfortable answering questions about their past and present. I've been following 5sos for years and I can't believe how far they have come since their beginning. And I can't wait to see what the future holds for them :)
luke is so damn cute and i remember seeing him on those covers and his solo ones and being like wowwwww hes pretty... always been a luke dude always been his lane
these guys truly deserve everything that they've accomplished. such beautiful souls, killer songwriters and amazing musicians. 5sos bring to the music world something different and unique to them. this band will be around forever and will not be forgotten.
I loved the interviewer! Well thought out questions that really showed that he cared about what 5sos had to say. Also enjoyed that there weren’t any forced jokes or laughs, it felt natural, fantastic job!!

I’m so glad they discovered diff sounds through these albums cuz they match the time periods and those were the best years indeed These songs will live on

this is such a great interview!! i've been a peripheral fan/casual listener of the band since she looks so perfect but i've become a proper fan in the last week and this interview really gave me an insight into them as people that i hadn't found anywhere else yet. so interesting to hear about their origins and creative process. really proud of how far they've come, and excited to hear what their next project sounds like!!

What an amazing interview - kudos to the interview for being so in tuned and asking great questions! Also not me crying at Ashton saying "I try telling you guys you're awesome" 🥺❤
this interview feels like we've been friends for long time talking about those flashback memories. We grow together with their music from heart break girl guy to wildflower guy. Thank you so much for being here with us making amazing music till today😭❤❤❤

This is such a beautiful interview! they’re all just chilling and talking about their lives and their thoughts, and everyone is comfortable and at ease and the interviewer made sure to not exclude anyone and that all the boys got a say love it!
This was an amazing interview! You could really see how detailed the interviewer was and was careful to ask new questions. He even managed to get new answers from old questions which I feel is hard to do since they’ve been doing this for 10 years now.
