Hey, I just wanted to tell you that this cover seems to heal me. There's something about it, telling me to wake up from my despair. This hopelessness and the struggle, I'm losing with. I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate how you've expressed how the cover sounds even more better with small mistakes. No one's perfect. You are wholesome. I'm downloading this. I'm going to sing along. I'm going to try to wake up.
@@LeivReed I feel like Aladinsane. Your music brings peace and helps to handle existence's weight. Thank you so much for this. I'm speechless right now, but I'll return and listen it again and again to comment something else. I hope that Aladinsane is well, as like you. My best wishes, friends.
@@DietrichGabriel I'm here friend. Thank you. This comment section feels like a treasure. It's been 6 months and I can say I am doing better. You tell me. What's the update?
I peaked into your channel and instantly subbed, this is sublime art and what i love to see in covers, a different iteration of the song. very beautifully executed, refining a gem.

Looped the original song for maybe 5-6 times yesterday, so i assume why this gem got into my feed. Great arrangement and performance, and great atmosphere too! Might have to figure out how to play this myself too.
There's something in Varg's music that makes it easily suitable for many instruments and interpretations. Yours are always nice to listen to (this must be my favourite together with En vind av sorg by Darkthrone). Even if as not as deep as yours, I'm trying to transpose Burzum songs to ukulele, under the YT playlist Burzulele.
This cover is something else! Accidentally found it on Spotify and now I'm obsessed. It gives off those guitar and campfire vibes... Actually, this feels more epic-dark-foresty than the original version. Great job!
Acoustic metal is a thing for me now. ;D Listening thru most covers of metal song played on the acoustic guitar, your talent shines thru! Your interpretation of Burzum is amazing. True mastery!
this got to be your best cover. I'm amazed by your talent and how you truly feel the music. the guitar playing is quite sloppy sometimes but it contributes so much to the final result, it feels human, which is lacking nowadays. I could listen your clips for days. It hurts and heals at the same time, it's just fucking good. thank you so much for sharing this
Very good acoustic breakdown dude, top quality. What a lot of people doesnt know is that you can acoustic like this a lot of Black Metal music because of the melodic structures that the genre have, very dark in composition but extremely melodic.
@@RafaeoNobre1 It's a good match, indeed. Though I rather had 'Shapes of Things to Come' or 'Das letzte Lied' (The last song) in mind. Or maybe 'Forseti - Der graue König' (That gray king). Do not compare tempi or rhythm, just atmosphere and that ultra low ambience. Not sure I can explain it understandably.

This is so, so great. You'll have to forgive me, but I'll have to download this video or convert it to audio or something and store it for the future, you can't trust youtube, and I'll be crushed if somehow this got blocked or removed someday. Amazing work :)
I’ve been listening to vargs post prison stuff and man, seeing glemselens elv come up from you is just too good. It’s like if Leonard cohen listened to black metal, which I mean as a total compliment. Thanks for covering. What tuning is your guitar in? I’d love to pick up a nylon sometime
Come here again and again. Man, could you please make a video about yourself as a person? Don’t know about the others but I’d like to know something about your life
oh. thank you for listening. i am so glad the internet makes it easier to reach out to others with similar tastes in music. after all, liking black metal, and other strange forms of music, isn't for everyone. what kind of information are you interested in? I'll see what I can man up to do. are you thinking like a varg/burzum driving around in the forest, humming to songs, working on the engine whilst talking type of thing?
Leiv Reed, pretty good kind of blog i think) I have no exact questions. Something like where are you from, how old, how did your music taste evolved through years. Its more interesting to listen to what you personally wish to tell about. Greetings from Grozny and Moscow
discovered this gem recently and come back to listen to it regularly. it deserves so many more views!

Varg never runs away from "mistakes". Thats part of the soul of his music. He hates artificial overproduced stuff. This is perfect the way it is

dude, this is so beautiful. This cover also conveys a bit of the mood from Sangre de Muerdago. l am absolutely loving it. Thank you!!
After all that blackened noise we go through, some soft acoustic melody always gets welcomed to hold the balance of mind. Veldig bra, Leiv!

What an honor to have THEE cena visiting.
Great cover. Sweeps with deep emotions.

I know it's Varg's piece but the first few seconds made me think of older stuff by Sonne Hagal. It's just that low tune. Awesome, love it. :-)
