Thank you! I used a Boss Metal Zone distortion pedal directly into the console. In the daw I mixed in some 50% rough sounding impulse responses and 50% dry sound, and added some saturation plugin. Can't recall if I did anything else. It was all done through experimentation, so I recommend you experiment too until you come up with something that you are satisfied with.
