Great info for this retired "Hoosier" cop now living in St.Pete. Fished the Honeymoon Island area with these tips and this novice caught 9 different species. Starting to get the hang of it. Thx guys!
This is an invaluable interview and I've listened to it no multiple times, learning something new each and every time. As a freshwater primarily bass angler when I began my wade fishing I watched what the other anglers were doing and mimicked them, learning a lot but still leaving a ton to learn. Your comment here at 25:15 described me to a "T". I'm so excited to put these tips and techniques into practice during my next FL visit. Thank you guys and Dave so much for this production.
Great video!!! Lots of great info and picked up some great pointers and helped correct some beginner mistakes I have been making! Thank you for sharing
Another excellent podcast. I listened to it on Podcast Addict and left a rating there but thought I'd leave a comment here as well. I love continuing to remove the label of wading as being a poor man's habit. I still love the simplicity of wading. I've lived in Pinellas since the late 80s and have lived less than 10 minutes from Honeymoon Island since 2003. The causeway and the park are excellent places to wade and it's funny to think I've probably been fishing right nearby Dave on a number of occasions over the years and didn't even know it.
Is the Insider Club applicable to someone like me who lives is SoCal, specifically Long Beach. I just bought a kayak and want to learn that and surf fishing. Mostly targeting halibut. It seems that most of the info is geared toward fish I've never heard about like snook, trout, reds, etc. Thanks.
I love Salt Strong, but these 38 minutes teases for Insider payments are a big turn off and aggravation. In fact, they are the only thing that has made me hesitant to become an Insider. I keep worrying if there will then be yet another layer of "pay me" that I would have to suffer through before I actually get all the Insider information.
We are confident that the only thing you'll be upset about once you join the Insider Club is that you didn't join sooner. And if you somehow aren't 100% happy with it, you can request a full refund at any point for an entire year after joining so you have nothing to lose by giving it a shot. Lots of invaluable detail in this one, guys, for everyone! Many thanks.
Thank you, Dave.

Great Video. The one thing I wish Dave covered was - What equipment and tackle does he generally take on a trip.
Thanks

Thanks Bill! Yes, wade fishing can often be one of the best ways to sneak up close to very big inshore fish.
Nice podcast, lots of good info, thanks guys.
