My personal tips that I feel you left out...
1. With pads we have underwear for incontinence here in Australia (brand depend) I found the pads got heavy real quick and having the nappies on as well gave me so much more comfort... now they have period undies which are amazing to for extra coverage... same same
2. Your own pillow! I did it with both my boys and I'm so happy I did this gave me the best comfort.
3. Headphones, unsure if your sharing a room or not also if bubs is asleep and you can't sleep because of the adrenalin you'll be bored but want to be quiet.
4. SNACK BAG this is a hugeeee one the hospital food is pretty crappy and you get sooooo hungry breast feeding!!! As many snacks as you can and range them bad and healthy! although when I had my son my appetite wanted healthier things...
5. Colostrum Kit, for my first I didn't know what this was for my second I was way more prepared... if your baby comes early they might suggest formula, for 36 weeks with the go ahead from your doctor you can hand express. You won't get much but if your able to get a few syringes worth it's great if it's needed when bubs is born, ready to go!
In Australia we have this amazing company called made to milk she makes colostrum kits, also the most amazing hot chocolate that helps with producing more milk and cookies, I don't think she ships to the UK but I'm sure there are amazing companies your way that provide the same! Having a hot chocolate or two everyday to help with milk production made me very happy 😅

I still have trouble wrapping my mind around the little Sophia from Ellen is having a baby. I’m glad your family is being so supportive and giving you ideas what to bring and what you might need. Plan he’ll come late and that way you won’t be disappointed if he doesn’t make his due date. Mine daughter was 2 weeks past due. Also avoid induction unless you or the baby is in distress. If you wait until he tells you he’s ready you’ll have a smoother delivery. One last piece of advice no one told me. If you are near your due date and you are having period like cramps coming closer together, you are in labor. Sounds like a duh, right? But I just kept hearing about contractions, when you have contractions…never ever occurred to me they’d feel like cramps (I was almost 24 and well educated!!) I don’t know what I thought contractions would be, but cramps never entered my mind.
Take care of yourself, so you can take care of baby, and God will take care of the rest. Enjoy these last weeks of pregnancy. You’re whole life is getting ready to change. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Beautiful! Definitely pack some stuff that fits you right now because most women do still look very pregnant after birth. It takes 6 weeks for the uterus to go back to its original size

I would also suggest bringing some shower slippers. The bottom of the hospital shower grosses me out, plus it helps prevent you from falling. Congrats on the baby! I'm so eager to see when he comes into the world!

I’d recommend taking some actual maternity pads as well because they’re a lot more thicker than “normal” pads (even if the normal ones are the biggest size & night time ones) just so u don’t have problems leaking, esp the first few days xx

i highly recommend the lillets maternity pads i use them for extremely heavy periods and they are super long they go from front to right to the back they are brilliant

I would recommend getting some bigger pads as well and some cooling gel pads. And the numbing spray
Peri bottles are amazing! after you have your little one it can be painful to wipe after using the toilet this cleans you after and helps you go to the toilet more better 😊
