10. Ubaid Lizardmen
For people who love conspiracy theories, it’s a common belief that the world was shaped by ancient aliens. Or for people who watch Ancient Aliens on the History Channel which is all kinds of confusing for people who don’t know much about history!! Stories exist of lizards who secretly control our society and if the Ubaid Lizardmen are anything to go by, maybe they have a point!
9. Giant Balls of Costa Rica
The United Fruit Company is mainly associated with fruit of course. And exploitation, but that’s for another video. In the 1930’s they made a major archaeological discovery while going about their business in Costa Rica. They stumbled across some stone spheres thought to be hand-crafted by ancient civilizations… the giant balls of Costa Rica!
8. The Genetic Disc
This stone disc illustrates the development of a human fetus. There’s just one problem… it’s over 6000 years old and in theory no-one was supposed to know what the inside of a looked like back then! This prehistoric oddity is called the Genetic Disc and was found in Colombia.
7. Aztec Whistle
These artifacts were found in an Aztec temple dedicated to the wind god. At first, the clay, skull shaped items were thought to be little ornaments but many years later, archaeologists figured out that not only did they look creepy, but they sounded creepy too!!! They were also found in the hands of a sacrificed male skeleton so that might give you a hint of what they were for…

Ancient relics from past civilizations often show things like flying carpets or winged chariots. So it makes sense some people think there were real flying machines whizzing about the sky thousands of years ago. Apparently these artifacts are real evidence of this. Xcode Ocarinas are still used and I made many that sounded before firing and after they were glazed too. They say they sound three tones at the same time. That tone was banned back in the 17th century because it was the Devils Tone. It sounds just like a siren to end a football game or a team of cars blaring their horns at the same time.

I suspect that there was an ancient civilization that was on par with ours. Probably a solar flare (or another civilization collapsing event).
Everything corrodes eventually, rocks erode more slowly but how many books are written today on stone.
Ironically, if civilization collapsed today, future explorers would have more evidence of ancient Egypt than us because our metals will corrod before the stone piramids.
I recommend the show "life after us". They show how little would be left in just a few thousand years.

Ref to the shroud of Turin, you should have researched further. The carbon dating you mentioned, was a sample taken from a piece of cloth added to the shroud in Middle Ages or even before. However, you should have mentioned that more samples were taken later on from the cloth for carbon dating, resulting in its conclusion that it dated back to the early parts of the first century AD.
Sounds like a typical case of, if you don't like results of your tests then keep on testing until you get some different results that you like better, this junk science at it's most irritating.

Eris123451 The first carbon dating was, indeed, done on a patch which was added to the cloth after it was damaged by fire. I haven’t a stake in the cloth one way or another. I just don’t have a problem with a second test taken from the original part of the cloth, rather than the much later repair. That’s how science works. Don’t rely on a single result.

The carbon dating of the shroud was mistakenly done on material used to patch it after it was burned in a fire and not the original material.
Some kids I know, sold me an Aztec death whistle, the shape of a skull, they had 3D printed... It's brilliant!

The giant stone balls are petrified droppings from a very large ancient creature. They are in a word - "mudfossils". As for the Saqqara Bird, Simon Sanderson and the History Channel proved it could fly and was aerodynamically sound by simply adding the rear stabilizing rudder that had been lost through the ages.

Could the stone balls you've featured @ 2:30 have been used for exercise among giants? We often see Atlas holding a large ball as if resting upon his shoulders. I don't know, but I would think working out with a heavy sphere like weight would be the ultimate workout using about every muscle group on the body.
On the shroud of Turin, the carbon dating was taken from a damaged corner of the shroud and it is know that there was a restoration attempts which may have interfered with the original cloth.

David Haven't you followed the updated news at all ? Previous research had a flaw which lead to false conclusion. You are just a hater who refuse any updated data which outcome doesn't satisfy your ego. You are no better than those fanatics.
David, any methods of dating artifacts are conducted in flawed attempts. Time, wind, water, sun exposure, natural acid in soil from plants are huge deteriorating factors, among numerous other natural chemical changes of nearby life/plants/nature that could affect artifacts on molecular level. There are the artifacts that are already so frail (by many of the above) that carbon dating just destroys any means to properly date them. Historians and/or other authorities have decided/been instructed to just come up with primitive theories and stick to them when carbon dating fails. But looking back at all we know about intelligent ancient civilizations were, the primitive crap doesn't fly. It wasn't even until fairly recently we started using laser in surgeries - until that point, we were literally using the same kind of surgical tools the ANCIENT Romans were. We still use them for every day medical practices. If ancients were so good we are unable to one-up them, then any primitive theory involving some primitive superstition just can't be.

No 8 is the Phestos disc found in the palace Phestos in Crete 1908 (if I remember correctly) and no one knows what it says, though some have guesses about it being a prayer.
It's called the Phaistos Disc, and it has nothing to do with fetus development.

JFYI: the Shroud of Turin's dating was flawed since the only place cloth was allowed to be taken from was an area that was proven to be from a "much later repair"(ie. thread count and weave type!)!! The dating/repair times were shown to be similar in time. You might want to further research your facts before stating as such! Sincerely Randy.
Not only that but there’s a painting of the shroud of Turin made in the Middle Ages. In the painting you can see thee people there holding the shroud with there hands. The oil of there hands contaminated the carbon dating. but that’s not all they did find pollen from a Flower that can be only found in Israel. As for me I am more scared now. this shroud seems more legitimate when you put the facts together. You never know this thing could be real or not. But I like to keep an open mind. 😊

The Shroud of Turin was repaired 750 years ago. When they carbon dated the shroud, it was later discovered, that they dated a patch from a later repair. I saw a documentary that stated that when it was retested, The shroud dated from the time of the death of Christ.

I love it someone comes along finds a 6,000 year old disk that depicts the human justation period. And because it is that old no one should know what the uterus should look like never mind on how it depicts the cycle in great detail.

The Shroud of Turin was radiocarbon dated using a part of the cloth that have been repaired in the 1400s and given the amount of it that was dated using the repaired cloth to the original cloth it actually dates to about the first century BC. Also when the cloth was tested it has pollen on it that is consistent with being in the Middle East in the first century BC but not pollen on it that's consistent with being in France were it was supposedly manufactured.
for the genetic disk part, you made a big mistake, the kind that we don`t expect you to do. the introduction is right but you show The Phaistos Disc that is a disk of fired clay from the Minoan palace of Phaistos on the island of Crete, possibly dating to the middle or late Minoan Bronze Age (second millennium B.C.)instead of the genetic disk that has very obvious carvings on both sides(of a Lydiate stone that is harder than granite) from conception till i think getting toddler & male&female full boby with strang heads & their genitalia. but the disk you showed has undeciphered symbols up to this date. sorry for correction & thanks for your valuable work.Sam.

I'm not sure where you got your info from about the model aircraft but you're Wrong! Several remote aircraft of these have been made to exact scaling demensions to include saqqara bird & they ALL fly beautifully!. There are RUclips videos on this & I have seen it in person.
