    Will see how it goes on my Michelin tyre, its only a small leak where I have plugged the tyre after removing the screw out of it.

      Seems to work well in those situations 👍

    Hey Jason, I see the bottle says for off highway passenger vehicles. Has it worked just fine for your car ?

    • @FastFixYouTube
      @FastFixYouTube  Месяц назад +1

      Hello. That disclaimer is for legal reasons. They dont want to be sued for broken TPMS sensors or people who use it as a permanent fix. If you use it to get from your garage to the repair shop, you’re perfectly fine. However, the TPMS sensor can block the slime from going into the tire. If your car has TPMS (very likely) I wouldn’t bother trying this. Better to remove the wheel and bring to the repair shop. Assuming of course you have a means to get the wheel to the shop. Best of luck and sorry this wasn’t of much help.

    Thanks for the video, after seeing all these steps using the slime. I decided to skip this step. I'll inflate the tire and drive to the tire shop.

    Nice video, but it seem like you missed a critical step of spinning the tire (driving a bit) to let the slime distribute.

      Yes, remove the object that punctured the tire prior to using the slim 👍

    My bike has TPMS. Does it mess it up if I use this green blob?

    • @FastFixYouTube
      @FastFixYouTube  4 месяца назад

      Hello. TPMS sensors can actually block tire sealing products, so you may not be able to get the stuff in the tire. I don’t have any direct experience with sealants messing up TPMS sensors, but I’m sure it happens. Thanks for the question and best of luck!

    Was reading it says “non highway vehicle.” Any issues from anyone using this for a highway vehicle?

    • @FastFixYouTube

      Hello. Remember, this compound is only a temporary fix and shouldn’t be used for extended periods of time. I’d have zero qualms about driving at highway speeds for a short period of time, but the weight of the fluid can affect the wheel balance and cause vibrations or different riding characteristics. Good question and thanks for asking 👍👍

    The one-gallon size gives these formulas to calculate the amount needed : for low-speed tires (under 45 mph), width (inches) X height (inches) X 0.12 = Oz. required. In metric, width (cm) X height (cm) X 0.55 = mL required.
    for high-speed tires (over 45 mph), width (inches) X height (inches) X 0.065 = Oz. required. In metric, width (cm) X height (cm) X 0.30 = mL required.

    You only need enough to fill the slow leak. I wouldn’t fill more than half a bottle lol

    Valve stems are permanently attached to the sensor stems and can not be removed.

    • @FastFixYouTube

      Yes, that situation won’t allow the sealant in…. Good call out 👍👍👍

    Good video but I wouldn't put it in tires that have tire pressure sensors in it. It will ruin it

    • @FastFixYouTube
      @FastFixYouTube  19 дней назад

      Hello, yes that’s correct! I’d only use in emergency situations because you’re right, it can damage the TPMS sensor although sometimes the sensor prohibits the skin from entering the tire anyway. Natures hymen! 😂. Thanks for the comment 👍👍👍

    Your slime went right in. Mine has too much air pressure in the clear tube to squeeze it in.
    What do I do

      Did you figure this out I have same issue

    • @FastFixYouTube
      @FastFixYouTube  Месяц назад

      Hello. Well, if it’s air pressure that’s holding it back. You could always deflate the tire a little bit and see if that helps. Of course she will need to refill it with air. If you don’t have an air compressor this could be a problem so only take out a little bit of air at a time. However, another thing that could be stopping you is the TPM sensor, that is installed. A lot of the time those get in the way and prohibit the slime from going in. I should’ve mentioned that in the video, but I’m kind of just figuring it out. Pretty annoying the factory limits are ability to fix quickly with the TMS sensor in the way. Best of luck I hope you get your tire fixed!
