Not an easy question to answer, considering both have not been run in yet. The Rev851's have of course more expensive drivers though sometimes that doesn't tell the whole story. In this case I think it does, the 851's are certainly more refined, smooth and well balanced. The 3wc-10's are surprisingly better than I expected, having the Faital Pro 10" woofer does give the speakers a more fuller sound, has more bass. Surprisingly again the cheaper Scanspeak Discovery tweeter blended in well and was not overtaken by the bass, again a well balanced speaker. What I am hearing out of the 3wc-10's , I like. I did re-designed the cab, can't say whether that has played a part but !!! The 3wc-12 has the same tweeter and mid + a larger woofer, could also be a go. They are both easy to drive, both like tubes but I think a quality 100wt + amp would bring them alive a bit more. Will post shortly the 3wc-10 partnered with my Accuphase 100wts and comment on it...
Thank you very much for your thoughtful & elaborate response. There's also the Fusion22 with Textreme mid-woofer. I'm certain they all have their distinct attributes & unique beauty, yet it would be great to hear all of them side by side & over a period of time.....I always get into arguments over ABX comparison ( Dr Toole & Shaun Olive ) vs long-term evaluation & I'm of the longer-term evaluation camp......There's some interesting interviews on John Brandt channel, pertaining to acoustics... Thanks again.... @@cruise2023
Nice Does the speakers perform well in low volume (voices and speach) like when watching movies late at night in a 2.0 stereo? I'm considering the Audiotechnologie 3w classic😊
Hi! Good question, something I haven't taken any notice of to be honest. By memory ( they are now packed and sealed for sale ) I can only say average/okay ! I would think a speaker with high sensitivity would be more at home to do that. Not sure whether that helps or or not. ( they certainly don't mind some power behind them if you desire volume ) Cheers
Hi! My best answer to that is look up " Troels Gravesen Loudspeakers " Revelator 851 kit, all the details are there, not sure about the crossover points though !
Very good sound ,congratulation !
Thank you.
Congratulation, superb sound !
Thanks again 😃
Nice work & thanks for sharing... Would you be able to comment on the subjective differences between the Revelator 851 & the Faital 3WC-10 ?

Can you please add a few impressions in comparison to Discovery 861?
Sounds pretty good. What drivers do they use?
Faital pro bass driver and mid range with Scanspeak Discovery tweeter.
@@cruise2023 oh i see. Thank you

Nice! Do you know what are the crossover points for this TG build?

Sorry I meant to say 3wc-10 kit, the 851 is the one I built prior.
