Alhamdoulillah being a muslim and born in Senegal,I'm really thankful to the Almighty who give us such kind of Spiritual Leaders as Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba,El hadji Malick Sy,Cheikh Ibrahim Niass and so on.They really helped and taugh us a lot about Islam and think about and their moment there wasn't much source of learning as we have nowadays the media (tv,internet...) and Books besides those that they used while somebody went to the Maghreb states and brought some interest books...Very proud of Them
Ahmadou Bamba was panafrican and a Sheikh who follow the religion to it fullest, and if senegal is keeping it languages and believing in themselves he played a significant role in it.

What an awesome lecture for a very special person who advocated for tawhid, fiq and tasawuf, all with strict ly following sunnah of prophet SAW and working hard to be autonomous. He’s a great model of patience ( persecuted for 33 years for no reason but his faithfulness and his project to restore authentic islam seen as threat by french occupation and by local rulers ). There’re obviously way many more things muslims may learn from his life. He tremendously designed the education of millions of people by his methodology he preciously write down in his numberless books. Thanks a lot again for opening this window on his life

Thank you, it is Allah swt who appoints a leader. It is not selected by anyone, nor given in a will, nor established by a committee. The role of the leader in Islam is to guide and establish an Islamic society. The main aspects of leadership are Knowledge and Power as mentioned in Noble Qur’an: “And We made them leaders, guiding by Our command; and We inspired them to do good works, and to observe the prayer, and to give out charity. They were devoted servants to Us.” [Qur’an, 21:73].

That seems to be confusing if no one knows how many books he wrote how can you admit he wrote the most books in this world?

@@truthteller1405 his book has been weighted at 7000 kilogramms, there's a huge library of his books in Sénégal. Just a tiny bit of his books has been made public.

Thank you, it is Allah swt who appoints a leader. It is not selected by anyone, nor given in a will, nor established by a committee. The role of the leader in Islam is to guide and establish an Islamic society. The main aspects of leadership are Knowledge and Power as mentioned in Noble Qur’an:
“And We made them leaders, guiding by Our command; and We inspired them to do good works, and to observe the prayer, and to give out charity. They were devoted servants to Us.” [Qur’an, 21:73].

نشكر لأستاذنا الشيخ عبد الحكيم مراد هذه المحاضرة الجميلة التي انارت ظلمات شهر ديسمبر كانون الاول بأنوار ذكر ولي من أولياء الله فنزلت علينا بذكرهم راحة الامل في الله الذي لا حول ولا قوة لنا الا بفضله وبمعيته في إيقاظ شذى عبق بمحبة رسول الله في قصة المجاهد بالقلم والتربية الإيمانية القرآنية الإمام السنغالي الورع أحمدو بامبا الذي قاوم مدافع الفرنسيين برفع المقاومة بالسهم والنشاب التي ذهبت بأبيه والكثير من اهله بمافيهم اخته والسعي إلى الاجتهاد الكبير في التربية الإيمانية بطريقة اسسها على حلقات من المريدين تحمل اسماء الله الحسنى لقد نفاه الفرنسيون الى جنوب السنغال فظنه السنغاليون شهيدا ثم اعادوه الى بلدته ليجدوا الناس اشد تعلقا به فنفوه الى موريتانيا كيدا به ظنا منهم بأنه مسلم افريقي فلن يسطع نجمه بين علماء موريتانيا فتعلق العرب به في موريتانيا فعاد الفرنسيون به من جديد الى السنغال لقد كان مذهبه العلم والتعليم الإيماني وايضا تفعيل قدرة السنغاليين على الانتاج لما يكفيهم ففاض الخير من حوله. لقد أسس مسجد طوبى الذي هو اكبر مسجد في غرب أفريقيا ولاتزال زيارته احتفالا سنويا يأمه 3 مليون إنسان وبفضل مذهبه التربوي لم تخسر السنغال دماء المزيد من ابنائها ضد فرنسا ولم تكن بينهم نزعة الفرقة والانقلاب على بعضهم البعض فكانت السنغال ولاتزال من اكثر بلاد المسلمين استقرارا. هكذا ذكر الأولياء عبق بطوبى قربهم من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم. ونشكر لاخواننا من السنغال أناشيدهم بداية المحاضرة وآخراها. الفاتحة لروحه أحمدو بامبا ولمن اهدى ابي الشيخ عدنان الجمالي الذي سجنه الفرنسيون في قلعة دمشق عام 1937 الفاتحة ولكل المؤمنين اللذي هم في ذمة الله تبارك الله
