I would never go and actively find these songs so that I could listen to them again, but, if they were played on an oldies station, no doubt singing along would be a guilty pleasure.
Get Down by Gilbert O'Sullivan! Sheesh, don't think I've heard it since '74. It was a good song. (Used to wear the 45 out, playing it over and over when I was 12)
The streak isn't funny to me anymore. Very dated fad that lasted 5 minutes. Clap for the Wolfman was a really lame song for the Guess Who. Many great songs from 1974, but also many bad ones I'll never understand how people liked them and they got to #1 and I was 18! . The Night Chicago Died, Billy Don't be a Hero, and Seasons in the Sun, a happy happy tune about suicide....Goodbye my friend it's time to die?....uh, really? No thanks....

Good choices for 1974.
"Rock & Roll Heaven" was originally cut by Sonny Geraci and Climax ("Precious & Few") but flopped by them.

It was a hit summer of 1973.
@@MetFan37 Whoopps! Well...ya still never hear it. (I mean, I gave up listening to radio decades ago, but it was never even played in the 70's....)
