Some are saying you hadn't addressed the wife beating command in the Qur'an, so I will: just watch crime stations (Investigation Discovery (ID) for example) to see what ill deeds some horrible wives can do to their husbands, children, or even the house itself. The verse also has two of other three measures such as talking to the wife, or not sleeping with her.
The next verse even goes as far as recommending the court if all else fails.
Why dividing men and women in that sense?

I heard that 'adriboehoenna' also had a groundmeaning of 'distancing from'. Would that not be a much better translation/explanation in relation to the rest of the Aya and in relation to thee first hadith you mentioned?
