Yes there are sharks there. I lived about a mile down the road. I snorkeled there a lot and saw sharks, but they are smallish and do not pose a threat. The only sharks I worry about, if I see one, is the tiger shark. They can sometimes be aggressive. But I have never seen one - just some white-tipped reef sharks. Anyway; cool shots. Mahalo. 🤙🏼

Untied Hawaii for me - I am in love with the pacific island culture. I’ve read about the original travelers through Samoa, Fiji, Hawaii, etc. I’ve read about the research showing Hawaiians visited the west coast before Columbus found the east, etc. Hawaii has always been my dream place. I would love more than almost anything to call Hawaii home one day, but I don’t want to misplace natural Hawaiians or make anyone feel like I am taking from them. If nothing else, I will come visit again in the next year or two. Thanks for the reassurance!
