I tried all different kinds of speakers but I'm gonna try this one. I live in an apartment so it doesn't have to be super loud. I'm heavy into having the bass sound just right & a good treble sound too. Thanks for posting. Sony no matter what is a good brand at least in my opinion .

You’re absolutely right-the Sony SRS-XB13 isn’t a bass-heavy speaker, despite the "XB" (Extra Bass) branding. Its compact size limits how much low-end it can deliver, so if you’re a bass lover or looking for that deep, thumping sound, this one might not hit the mark. If you need more bass, consider stepping up to something like the Sony SRS-XB23 or JBL Flip 6. They’re still portable but pack a lot more punch in the bass department. The XB13 is great for portability and casual listening, but when it comes to bass, you’re right-it’s not the speaker for the job. 🎵💡
