Really great review! I just bought two XB12 and they sound great and even greater when connected together for stereo! My ears and the reviews I’ve seen….the XB12 sounds better than the XB13.
I feel like you should adjust your mic for when you're standing in the room reviewing the speakers like I can hear you fine but you do sound kind of far away from the mic other than that all of it's really good
XTREME 3 sounds good, but actually it’s only really bassy between 30 and 80% volume, at very low and very high volumes the bass feels pretty thin. Honestly go for a flip 5 (or better a flip 4) or at most a charge 5

There is no sign or way to tell lol 4 hours at that weight is impressive however it isn't that long considering it is over $100 NZD and pretty low powered! With no way to tell what volume level the speaker is at lol?

The mic doesn’t do the Xb-13 well. I have two irl and I have one xb-12. I compared them and the xb-12 seems to be slightly louder and slightly more bassy, while the xb-13 sounds cleaner and clearer and in my opinion has better balance and sounds better compared to the 12
it's lacking too many features... jack 3.5 and the connection with Sony app for the equilizer and the possibility to connect to other models of Sony speakers... if u buy it on sale $35 is fine, otherwise is not worth it...
It can be paired with 2 models at once and has an app for equilzer. Which I don't think it needs tbh. An has an option which turns its self off after so long. An waterproof. Aestheticly pleasing, and durable solid piece
I bought one for $127. I wanted the yellow one only sold in UK. It’s like Bose to me….sweet sound but too low for the price. I like the phone call feature. I should have bought another clip 3…I originally paid $30 now they want $50/60. I couldn’t pay the extra $20/30. But now I feel silly. I don’t respect this speaker for $60 really either. Sad face. Nice review.

Bro everyone is indoors now a days, there is no need of loud volume .There is need of clear sound .Personally I think SONY made the right move.

I would say driver is better on the Xb-13 while the passive radiator is better on the xb-12.

It's a bluetooth speaker for the car or outdoors. Why do you want a 3.5 jack to lug around?
