Han is a fan of EXchange (Transit Love). There was a couple that split up after being together for 13 years, so he wrote this. He was so excited when he heard they got back together and promised them that he would write a song for their 15th anniversary if they were still together. 😆
YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TO HEAR VOLCANO FROM HAN. I promise it will give you everything that you’ve been craving from SKZ music. The lyrics always make me tear up 🥲
@@KpopPrince it would have been on Han & Seungmin’s 2KR. If you liked their snippet, I think you would absolutely appreciate the lyrical depth of the entire song. Hope you keep listening to SKZ albums. IMO 5-STAR sounds like a grown up old school SKZ. Thanks for your reaction and reply! 🥹🫰🏽
The mistake in Kingdom was I.N.'s voice crack at the end. It had him in tears because he felt he had failed them (especially since they got such a low score) and was crying at the dorm as well. Most think that the voice crack just added to the emotion of the song. I only cringe when I hear it because I know how much it upset him. All the old songs from SKZRecord are on Spotify now as SKZReplay. They may be releasing another one this year of all the SKZRecord since Replay was released.
I feel the same way about skz sound!! I thought I was just being a lil cynical, missing the old times, but their older albums were always a full listen compared to now. They still have good songs but their older songs are just ✨
Ah what a treat to have this up-load today! 13 has grown on me exponentially more even since requesting it to you. I don't know what state my ears were in when i first listened. That past Summer is rly dumb for not just soaking in this nostalgic vibe. I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
it’s weird for me to find someone that still prefers woojin on their songs lol I became a stay with all their newer stuff so for me he’s the odd one on a few of their older tracks, most of their discography doesn’t have him and they actually re-recorded a lot of the songs that did to cut him out
I agree with kpop prince, I think it's much weirder for old fans like myself to hear the re-recorded versions of the songs that he was originally in because they're missing something they originally had, whereas fans (majority of fans since most didn't join until gods menu or later) who were never familiar with his voice find it sticks out. you probably don't run into it often because there are not a ton of early debut period stays compared to the amount of stays who didn't even know about or start liking skz until after he left.
Same experience for me as the previous two comments. Since those were the only versions I knew from the start, it actually disrupts my listening when his vocal isn't there because my brain is like "wait something's different?" But if his original vocal is there, I don't even notice it's him lol. Difficult to unhear what I heard for years I think. I am starting to get used to the re-recorded ones though since they've been around for some time now.
Ah, I've also lamented the shift in music style and genre of kpop over the years. I do listen to early skz sometimes and think, "wow we really grew out of that rock and edm inspired teenage angst." Happened to me with BTS around DNA era back in the day too. Think about it though, we would never get a boy group like B.A.P nowadays! Not necessarily a bad thing, just different. The industry and the trends change with time. But it is bittersweet to suddenly realize that the window for some of our favorite type of music closed without us being fully aware it was ending. I appreciate the feeling of nostalgia it creates though. MAN, would I love to hear what gems are buried amongst old files in Bang Chan's laptop!
Since you haven't reacted to Rock Star yet, I think both Leave and Cover Me will fill some of those emotional lyrics void, and both Comflex and Blind Spot have some of that angst about life beyond the spotlight.
If you're ever interested, NFlying has some great recording behinds/process videos for their full albums! Seunghyub deals a lot with their production/composition/lyric writing it's fun to watch their energy and chemistry in the studio vs live stages
It’s getting weird how you have to make it known in *every* skz reaction that they were your favorite group but aren’t anymore and how you wish they would return to their old sound
Nah pretty normal. Not everyone watches every video so it helps people understand my background and where I'm coming from. You'll find plenty of people feeling similarly in the comments

Omgoodness, I was watching a reaction of No Easy Album and saw this in my suggestions. I actually told the reactor, "Be right back!" Yes, I'm crazy😂 But every time someone reacts to this video, I watch immediately😁❤
34:25 as a (mostly) SM stan i can say i'm always being spoiled cause the artists collab all the time lol i love the SMTOWN albums cause they have the most random people doing a song and it sounds AMAZING (ex: Jet - Eunhyuk, Hyo, Taeyong, Jaemin, Sungchan, Winter and Giselle)
9:20 that's interesting... cuz for me i've been stay since their survival show but i prefer listen the newer version (re-make) bcs i can listen lee know vocals more since i really love lee know vocal.
It's so weird knowing that almost my entire perception of Chan as a person is from his livestreams. I have to wonder how DO new stays get to know Chan? Can't imagine that every new fan is finding a google drive and sitting through hundreds of hours of old vlive footage. They way he hardly interacts or gets personal on social media feels like we gaslighted ourselves into believing Channie's Room ever happened. Bit trippy ngl lol.
35:20 Especially since they hype each other's music and cover each other's music So Much. Like, you know they would LOVE to do it. Have you heard Hyunjin's Long For You? What about the solo stages from the last concert? Just curious.😊
Like, i get you're more attached to their old songs, but they had to grow up from that angsty age they were in to find their color and to try new things. Learning, experimenting, finding themselves and what they like to do cuz it's fun for them, cuz they can hahaha I think that's what matters at the end of the day, their creativity and capacity. And I'm not saying that you need to be 100% in love with everything they do, but it doesn't hurt to open a little bit your mind and step out (no jk intended lol) from you're comfort zone and have a little fun. I think if they stick with the angsty-trying to find their way theme and not experiment and grown from it, that would put them in a slump, limiting their capacity of creating, perfecting their craft; stoping them to find each of their own individual colors within the group and be boring and kinda 1 dimensional hahaha thats my not asked opinion hahahaha It's been a while 😂
Do you really find their music more varied and less 1-dimensional now compared to the first few albums? I'm sorry but I completely disagree on that premise alone. I still enjoy their recent stuff definitely -- we just have opposite opinions on that main point.
I don't know if you've seen jeongins lee mujin service but you should if you havent! I feel like he gets overlooked a lot as a main vocalist. just bc he doesn't do the high notes doesn't mean he isn't a main vocalist and a really good solid one at that! It's true that it was han that took over a lot of the parts that belonged to WJ bc at the time seungmin and jeongin weren't confident enough to do so. But I feel they've grown a lot vocally since then. Han, Lee know, Seungmin and Jeongin all still go to vocal lessons outside of JYP bc they want to keep improving so I hope they get recognised for it more. Lee know especially bc he didnt have any vocal training at debut but now wrote a ballad. Plus cant forget Chan too!!! He is a really solid vocalist too and he should be acknoledged more imo. Skz do have good vocalists despite being a rap focussed group and I don't feel like they had a big loss in WJ, rather they improved even more and even faster to fill in the gaps. Anyways sorry for the rant! I just wanted to comment on your thoughts with my opinion.
34:26 I think the only one I have heard is Han's 12345 SKZ Record with Bae from NMIXXX that I highly recommend if you haven't already 😊Thanks for the reaction! 💜

3racha are workaholic-night owls, they always stay up so late until morning (like 3 a.m), especially Chan (5 or 6 a.m) making music and recording 🥲
Han made a SKZ record a little while ago called "1 2 3 4 5" and it features Bae from Nmixx!
YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TO HEAR VOLCANO FROM HAN. I promise it will give you everything that you’ve been craving from SKZ music. The lyrics always make me tear up 🥲
Actually I think I have from a performance on 2 Kids Room!
