It’s sort of a little sad that he got rid of his opened sets to have perfect unopened copies. This is more akin to collecting boxes than it is to enjoy Lego as a hobby. But to each their own.
He collects for the $ not the love of the set.
I don’t know if that is quite true. He does seem to know quite a bit about Lego Star Wars and has a connection to the sets not just for an eventual prophet.
No this is a cool type of collection. Also having all his sets sealed takes up so much less space. I personally don't open any sets anymore and am waiting till I move to bigger home because I dont have room

I’ve got a few in my pantry, but after somebody got in it and destroyed my Clone Army 😭😭😭I decided to just keep sealed until I can get somewhere bigger. I’m hardly even buying sets anymore, mainly polybags, simply cuz they take up way less space.

Totally agree, I would even argue this is stupid. Wrapping boxes into plastic, after all these are toys they where made to be played. And now they sit unopened in somebody's house.

That was 22:53 mins on a rollercoaster ride of emotions; motivating, frustrating and satisfying at different points. Sometimes overlapping into an entire new emotion that I’ve never experienced before. I think that I remember smiling and crying simultaneously.

I was building lego when I was 10 years old. Now i'm 18 and start to get interesting on it again. These video are the reason why most of my first salary will be lego 😂
I saw you at the Brickfair, I was walking past some star wars builds and almost ran into you, and I was like: "Hey this guy looks familiar", and then I see the camera man behind you and realize who you are.
I have seen the current world record collection. I had the privilege of counting it for Guinness . It was an amazing collection but I love how these are displayed. Thanks for sharing.

Ryan, I am currently trying to rebuild my uncles usc naboo star fighter from when he was a teen.
That lego section looks like all the Walmarts and targets in my area. Basically anywhere that Carrie’s legos.
Still have 3 each unopened Death Star and Star destroyers, such a good price back when they were released, sets nowadays are almost 800-900 😂

No Way. That's too ironic. I found a ucs Naboo starfighter in a bag at a yard sale along with the 2011 Sith infiltrator and a bunch of older mini sets for 20$. That's kinda insane how close the finds were.

i can understand both sides of the coin. those that collect out of box and those that collect in box. me personally i would only ever keep sealed sets for resell in the future. other than that i like to build all my sets and display them
