I was listening to a podcast that said, “it’s important to live life by design rather than emotion. Basically, sticking to a routine is what allows us to be the healthiest version of ourselves (especially when you're fighting these demons ex. OCD for me). I’ve had to overhaul how I approach taking care of my brain (exercise, journaling, studying etc) by practising mediocre consistency. Now I try to put in consistent 50-60% effort into my journaling habit - to make sure I do it I began recording it and posting it on YT. After a really bad depression phase I started to believe I couldn’t change and I’d feel that horrible forever. Your streams your lets see if i can do it attitude really inspired me to try.
Same here. I struggle both with OCD and depression. Haven’t studied well at school for the past 2 years of High School. My next year of High School also is my last one at school. And I’m already planning a system and routine which I’ll stick to. Living by emotions makes me struggle more actually ughh! You’re speaking facts. The most amazing thing I learned in this video is hanging up a poster with binder clips so you don't have to damage the poster with pins or tape. Wish I thought of that a while ago
