chu ko nu / ZXL too strong for sure. But in this case Avely just played this poor. No scouting at all, neither background activities nor map control. He could have easily pushed meditation gardens or 3rd / 4th TC or farms in the back. ZXL hat no walls at all. He never moved his longbows to a flank to check villager activities or ressource source. If you let ZXL grow like this you can`t blame them. But again: They still need a nerv.

I love how the Meditation Gardens was placed in such a vulnerable position, yet ended up completely unscathed for the entirety of the game! 😂
French were the most busted back in the day before the spearman brace mechanic was automated.

When they nerfed ram health and buffed their armor they made Zhuge Nu too good against them. I'm not sure what their motivation was.

I get ZXL winrate is not that crazy but its so unfun to play against, needs nerfs in some places and maybe changes to others to make it not feel as oppresive?

I think Avely should have used the gone around a bit to build the battering rams so they would be against weaker and more undefended 🚫🛡 buildings. Rather than the outposts, which were not doing a lot economy wise.
That way their wood 🪵 destroyed/minute rate would be much, much higher and there would be more disruption in other forms such as in destroying the production buildings and increasing villager build time.
Especially because it would mean Avely would not be against the much more powerful landmark town centre with the battering rams.
Also, Avely should have really gone for fish 🐟 with ships or villagers considering the opponent had no offensive power to contest it at that point.

Not accusing anyone of anything, especially a player like him, just genuinely curious. Is there some sort of upgrade or did he select all villagers and tell them to turn in whatever they are holding. I can't math it

38 Villagers in queue would make the difference of roughly 1900 resources. With four towncenters possible, isn´t it? UI is not showing how many villagers are in queue.

i think this game is not about zhu xi legancy. Even, Crakedhere playing other civ with 3TC or 4TC like that is still able to win.
Better said, when a guy with 47 army units vs 1 horseman, then still gets nothing for a very long long time. The game is already over no matter it is Zhu xi legancy or not.

The worst thing about playing against CIVs like juicy is that they are just so forgiving to the player playing them. The fact that they can just eco and tower out of everything, and the gameplan is simple! There is a fundamental problem when a team can be so cheaply self sufficient and they get a one size fits all unit, is just dumb.
Zhu xis legacy is a lot more diffcult to play than others... Or english... English is 1 star and chinese and ZXL is 3 star diffcult... Avely mistake in this game
China in general should have that ridiculous build speed perk nerfed.
@@grdks981 Are they harder lol? Whats so hard about turtling and then booming? Defensively they are one of the better teams, are they not? They have to nerf some combination of: Build speed, Meditation Gardens, Auto getting the Zhuge, the wood discount. Lightly i would say, but there are clear and present imbalances. The teams i really feel for are China and France, why would you ever play those now, they should get a little something to distinguish themselves from their much better variant civs.
@@andrewwoods7507 Yes they are harder to play, 3 stars against 1. And every pro player say that. Beasty already said that ZXL one of the hardest to play. And i already saw 2 others saying exactly the same, i dont remember who now... Maybe they need a nerf, but China and ZXL lose a lot. In this game the english player was terrible

I watch all of your video Drongo but man this one just felt off in terms of the skill level. I feel like Avely just played terrible, so many mistakes and missed chances I that I don't really think it was just ZXL being OP

The English player made alot of mistakes, made me cringe. The ZXL was just the better player.
Nah this was just poor english game. Have the med gardens been taken down that TC push was a win condition and all he needed there was one more ram. Considering he was banking 600 wood at that time it should've been games blouzes. Also insufficient scouting resulting in being scared of nothing. This game didn't go to žu či because they're busted.
Funny how the player base complains about certain civs but never others. All over the place they are constantly complaining about Ayyubids and Jean d'Arc but here is Zhu Xi's Legacy being utterly and completely broken and barely anybody is talking about it. You can't boom against it because they get fast access to Zhuge Nu, you can't be aggressive against them because they can easily boom and out resources you. Yeah I wonder when this civ will be rightfully nerfed.

Have you ever watched this guy? He’s all in for China and juicy, he’s maimed China since the game was released and argued against every nerf they ever got. If he’s saying it should be nerfed, it must be SO bad that he can’t deny it without losing credibility.
