Man that sounds rough. I grew up in Michigan and it felt like winter never ended.
Idea for watering with the fencing. You will need a few. Get some rebar or metal conduit cut to the length that you will need (6ft+/-) weld a ring to end or bend to make corkscrew. Pound in next to fence feed hose thru ring. I will keep it off fence. Just an idea.

John, you need your Technical Advisor : Brooklyn, she knows all the names by heart, takes notes once, then locked in. Love the hose water line setup, saves on carry all those buckets for ya all. Question: Are there any signs that a pig is pregnant before their milk starts coming in, and at what point does their milk begin to come in?
Millies piglet with the zebra stripes is absolutely ADORABLE!! Too cute 🥰 for words! Is that pattern a breedable trait like the banded pigs??

At what age do you castrate the boars?
I try to have them done before the 8 week mark. The earlier the easier
Where do y’all get those pools at?
They are usually sandboxes because the sides hold up better. We find a lot at garage sales
