It’s good to hear that other people of faith struggle with doubts and feelings of unworthiness of God’s love.

I don't know how this interview has been out 4 years and it just now comes my way.
This is a gift. I am forever impressed with God's timing.
Thank you for all of this.
There is a Rich Mullins song in my head nearly all the time. My spirit was pricked as you guys spoke words of his songs.
    Namaste

The only sadness is we are still seperated from the Lord. When we are truely there we will Sing!
Till then we hold together in the power of His love and grace.
    It's gonna be Awesome!

Rich is the single greatest Christian musician ever and A Liturgy, A Legacy, and a Ragamuffin Band is the single greatest album in Christian music. Hands down.

Thank you for this wonderful interview exploration, and I especially loved your discussion of how God drops breadcrumbs along the way leading us to understand not so much how much we love God but how much He loves us! Will have to read the book by CS Lewis, Surprised by Joy..

Hearing the story of the monastery in KY again and the comfort you experienced really reminded me of that passage in the Book of the Dunn Cow where the Dunn Cow is comforting Chaunticleer.

It's funny when people say RM wasn't a good singer.
He didn't have Robert Plant-ish range, but he had a good tone and a definite gift for singing lots of words quickly without the dorky folksy, how white girl can you get way or sound like rapping.

I felt like he was speaking My life and feelings. This is very helpful. Thank you Jesus.

Who is the author he mentions at the beginning? Fredrick something?
